Full squad for France assuming no injuries in training... well, after the 100000000 injuries before the tournament. But at least nobody more.

The real final. France are slight favorites because Gomez is out and home advantage, but it should be a very good contest.

With Gomez, Khedira and Hummels out, France will take this one I'm afraid.

Piggy and Boateng are questionable too apparently... at least that's what they said on French TV during the game.

Piggy is out but he is shit so didn't include him as a "miss".
Dunno about Boateng but that'd he a big blow.

Germany to France is what Italy is to Germany... so it doesn't matter in terms of injuries to some extent. We have a mental block. Normally, we end up playing scared. I just hope we play our game and finish the game using all our ammunition.

Re: SF: France Vs Germany
As of today, Gomez is out, Schweinsteiger is 50/50 for Thursday, Khedira very likely out, Hummels suspended.
But Boateng is supposedly going to make it.
That's what they tell us, at least.
Going to be a tough-as-hell game. I'm very glad we got the psychological advantage of having won a KO-game very recently.
On the other hand France did just stroll to a victory, while we enjoyed 120 minutes of gut-punching.
Am a bit scared you guys. At least going out to France could be a dignified affair. They've got a great team, and are the host nation. Could be worse.

Although in fairness that had nothing to do with the players or a mental block.
More like a mental goalkeeper and a blind referee

They also beat France 2-0 in the semis in 86 coming off a an embarassing Euro ( That France won ), and scrubing their way to the final four , barely beating average opponents like Morocco and Mexico while France elminated title holders Italy and favorite Brazil .

Kommander, if you reach the final with Portugal, fake a migraine and stay home. You don't want to lose 4-0 and get trolled all summer.

Don't want neither team to progress tbh. But I'll probably root for France.

Re: SF: France Vs Germany
If Khedira doesn't make it he'll be a big miss, Germany's midfield is light-weight without him. or maybe it's time for Can to become a hero

Re: SF: France Vs Germany
Giroud is on unreal form at the moment. He gave best individual performance of the Euros against Iceland. Everything he touched turned gold.
Giroud,Payet and Griezman are key to France.

Re: SF: France Vs Germany
Actually to me... midfield and forwards were never a concern. We're deep and talented there. With all the injuries, the CBs are the main concern. Gomez being out helps a lot because Rami and Kos are much better at dealing with players in front of them. Set pieces are also an issue, but without Hummels, Gomez and Khedira, we should be able to hande that ok too. But I still worry.
Sagna and Evra were a concern too coming in but they've been ok.
In games like this, it comes down to who takes their chances and who doesn't. Not much will separate the teams.
