Ventura should be fired right after the game. Clearly there is something wrong in his mind.

No player seems comfortable with the 4-2-4, i don't think anyone use it in Serie A since a lot of years. Also, it's not even an entertaining tactic because it's overcrowded upfront, attackers are running on each other's feet.

Go 4-2-3-1. Swap Immobile for any of Bernardeschi, El Shaarawy or Pellegrini and readjust.

After 55 minutes it finally works vs Israel ! Captain left the team, lost to Macedonia, nearly draw Liechtenstein ... gives you an idea.

Immobile and Belotti have zero business being in a strike partnership together, it's a poor mans Quagliarella - Matri ffs.

Don't play 2 up front if the 2 strikers don't compliment each other extremely well.

4-2-4 is a stupid idea. Who does it even suit personnel wise? Wingers would be just as comfortable in a 4-3-3, the two strikers don't mix well and the midfield gets left to eat shit all game long.

Ventura is a dinosaur. Italy will go out in the group stages again with him in charge if they get a tough group like last time.

None in this case. The problem is the "2" upfront. We have 2 traditional CFs up there, need an SS or AM or CM in there to make things flow better

Italy is struggling immensely to even put together plays. If this team goes to the world cup, it will be yet another repeat of the last two world cups.

Word by word why I hate teams focusing so much on possession.

A double pivot of Verratti and De Rossi is just so underwhelming. We should have another midfielder to make the space for Verratti to create. We literally do nothing through the midfield.

All of our attacks are just crosses from out wide. Basically, prayers into the middle. We live and die from the play from Candreva which is frightening because he's good but not of the level you should be playing around.

I thought Darmian and Zappacosta were quite good. Insigne was very disappointing, I think he's wasted. He's not a winger, he's a wide forward. Like this he's pushed too much to that touch line and it doesn't help.

Having Immobile and Belotti is like having the exact same player twice. Belotti is just a better version, we should just play him.

I think a 4-3-3 makes the most sense with this group.

Anyways, what a pathetic game especially from midfield. If that goal didn't happen, this would have been a draw. Probably more fair to Israel, that it would have been.

Conti looked off for Milan too. He needs to find his form soon.

It's not even a knock on Conti, Zappacosta was just really impresssive when he came on.

Also, what's with Conti being subbed so early in the second half? Did he get hurt or is Ventura just that tactically inept that he decided three minutes into the second half to make a change rather than at half time?
