What is this Abate LB !? He can barely do anything at his own position ffs ...

You guys have no idea how bad Maggio would be as fullback with defensive duties. In Napoli he's almost a winger.. And if you do not pick Di Natale for your Italy squad you don't know your italian football. Di Natale is top class..

Why isn't Abbiatti called up?
He is a better 2nd than Viviano!
Viviano is the future but in all fairness...he isn't better than Marchetti yet to be Italy's second keeper..

Maggio held the position all through qualifiers and didn't do a bad job by any means whatsoever. So, I'd double check and watch your tone when you say people have no idea about him as Italy's right back.

Anyways, reading that Prandelli has tried a front three trident in attack shows hope for me.

That's an interesting attack, Luca. I like the idea of Balotelli playing more as a CF. I feel that Mancini uses him in a wide position too often for Man City. It will be interesting to see how Prandelli decides to deploy the attack because there are not many CF options. He may have have to take most of those attackers just so that he can have a variety of forwards.

I agree. I think that Di Natale might have to feature since he is the only experienced CF in the group.

However i like ur lining up .. Its my preffered , but with cassano comming in or replaced by gio

I would replace Criscito with PDC or Chiellini at LB if need be. I don't know which LB would be better out of Maggio/Abate.

Di Natale has to be in the line up.

Ideally (although it won't happen for obvious reasons) we would play 3-5-2.


All Juventus players, Di Natale and Maggio are adept at playing in the systems with 3 at the back. But Prandelli won't change from his 4-3-1-2/4-4-2 diamond.
