Clearly you don't follow Milan or their progress. Class team that will elevate the sport as we know it. The Kalinic signing alone is one that only, and I mean ONLY, Milan could make. Were not worthy.

Done with you trolls.
Trolling huh? If you're going to troll, at least don't name a player that went to your team and where your management got scammed.

I wasn't even in favor of Kalinic. If you read the Milan forums, you would understand that.
This is getting ridiculous. Lets just move on from this.

Re: Italia: La Nazionale II
No one rates Kalinic or Borini or Kakanoglu, those are panic buys ala Hernanes, last day of the mercato. Milang don't intend to build around them.
Giancarlo it's funny how i read every now and then, posts about the J-Academy and that kind of stuff. And now that we begin our biggest challenge ever, you dare to complain ?
De Sciglio is the ultimate dud, J-Academy will become the footy equivalent of Harvard if somehow Juve transforms him into a decent NT player. However i do think it is a dead case, spending too much time at Associazione Calcio Milan killed him for good.

People may not rate Kalinic (I certainly don't) or Borini... but they also don't rate De Sciglio either. And Kalhanoglu will do well enough. He was rated quite highly, before that highly unusual suspension. If he wasn't suspended, we would have probably had to pay 30-40 million for him. The fact you paired them with the other two is rather unusual. He was an early signing, and was certainly not a panic buy. They were tracking him a while too.
You should stop trying to troll me. You will keep falling flat on your face.
Oh and your J-Academy nonsense... it's childish BS. And we're not the biggest killers of careers. That would be our direct city rivals. We help make careers. It isn't our fault that De Sciglio never had a proper mentality to begin with.

I know you're against the move, that's why I made the comment- jokingly if it didn't come off.
Anyways, this isn't a thread for club wars brothers. It's just about the national side, and I repeat, were all supporting the same team here.

Damn i thought it was a panic buy because of how average Calhanoglu is besides the free kicks aspect of the game. In fact you DO intend to build around him, my bad

Fair enough.
I suspect Italy will win the next few games. The Israel one shall be interesting as to what formation is used. The question is whether the wins will be comfortable, or if this game against Spain really hit morale.

You have a deluded view of Calhanoglu (lol I spelled his name with a K... that's one name I'll have to keep looking up). He's not average.
You have a lot of growing up to do.

Yes sorry Luca for derailing another thread
For now i am making fun of Milan while they are still laughable, yet, in 2-3 years both Milan clubs should be back in elite.
And then we'll fight together as Serie A warriors vs PL, Buli, Liga fans. About league supremacy.

I am talking about Milang, the laughable club that sold his last piece of soul to Chinese interests. And everything that happened there recently.
Which is far worse than 1000 years of Jeep sponsor.

I've got a feeling we scrap together a win, but who knows, a nice comfortable win by at least two goals would be a step in the right direction.

Everyone will be angry and wanting to redeem (or prove) themselves. I think we'll win by 2 goals at least.

Nothing to envy Spain about when the proper tactic is used.
Jorginho because he deserves it, and Marchisio most likely won't be fit.
Spinazzola is legit, so is Conti.
The bench is also interesting at all positions if Ventura dares to include youth Pellegrini, Gagliardini, Petagna ()

Spinazzola was literally the worst player on the pitch against Spain and does not justify playing time, nor is he given playing time at his club. Other than that that formation is decent.

Re: Italia: La Nazionale II
Lets stay together for the kids
They beat Slovenia (U21) 4-1 today. Its a whole new team since most of the last ones graduated. Cutrone, Favili, Chiesa and Orsolini scored. So there's a little bit for everyone.
The lineup was:
Audero; Pezzella, Mandragora, Romagna, Calabria; Locatelli, Moras; Chiesa, Cutrone, Favilli, Verde

Just because he couldn't keep the left side locked by his own damn self doesn't mean he was the worst player on the field. Bonucci was, given the importance he has in the squad. Always half a second late in his interventions, and honestly he looked like he couldn't care less if he was there playing for his country instead of doing something else.
4-2-4 was deluded, even in Fifa it's a shit formation, you even admit before the defeat is mainly due to Ventura using this. What i saw of the defense was every man for themself and zero cohesion.
Frankly i can't see anyone at LB but Darmian/Spinazzola in 2017-2018. One is defensive minded and overall solid, the other is blossoming and has the offensive instinct and technical qualities that could be useful against a team like England/Netherlands/Chili and any other potential opponent who have a somewhat light defense. Best of both worlds.
On the right side mmm... Conti is a good choice, Zappacosta back up at best. The rest is dross anyways. I know Calabria has both feet and honestly i do actually rate him as a young player and he is not dross, but World Cup 2022 is more appropriate target.

Re: Italia: La Nazionale II
That's fine considering Italy does seem to have a lack of left backs. I would start Darmian over Spinazzola though, because I don't consider Spinazzola to be that great of a player and he in my opinion he wasn't even Atalanta's best.
Right backs do seem to be in abundance. Conti, Zappacosta, Calabria (maybe - he did play for the U-21s). Abate is no longer part of the picture and has declined, but there are plenty of others. There is also D'Ambrosio, but he's just average.

Seem to have some representation there and interesting how two of our players starting there actually see a lot of time for our team. Locatelli and Cutrone are really maturing rapidly. Cutrone... 4 goals in 6 appearances this season so far, and maybe he can replicate that for the U-21 team.
The only thing I want to see happen is either Donnarumma starting for the U-21 (and he certainly would over Audero or Scuffet), or him starting for the regular team... despite my lingering issues with him over what happened in the summer.

4-2-4 needs to be flushed in the toilet. No team should ever play that flawed and convoluted system. What a struggle for Italy.
