I thought it was a great game and USA were a great defensive unit. All they really need is a draw now from Portugal.

You seem like a pretty fun guy.

Anyway, I was surprised to see the USA win with Bradley playing so poorly. If he plays like he is capable they will give Portugal problems imo.

The game was decided with the 2:0 and the Pepe red.

ESPN Host on german performance:

"This is a lesson in german master class, inflict maximum damage in the first half, exert ultimate control in the second."

Although I have to admit that we have one of the least attractive teams (compared to van Persie and Neymar or even Ronaldo) in this WC - it was a really enjoyable experience to watch this game.

My favorite Moment: how Ronaldo "killed" that one man wall! Priceless Very Happy

and btw I want Jürgen Klinsmann as a personal coach. he is obv. a motivational magician... How the US did not give up after that late equalizer - amazing.

i did have the fear that Germany might get beat by the US before today - and that I have to swap the team I am rooting for for one game - I'll rethink that.

Great WC day (I did not watch Iran - Nigeria though)

I am strictly talking about the mind set he obv. develops in his team.
I found the "2006 - Deutschland ein Sommermärchen" Euphoria to be very much driven by the mind set Klinsmanns team showed.

USA USA USA!

How's the Coentrao injury. It could be huge loss. He's a great left back. Also, thug lyfe Pepe will miss the next game. With a possibly demoralized Portugal, the US has an even better chance.

Word so far is a strain. MRI tomorrow morning. Any conclusive evidence at this point is all conjecture.

Negatives reported: The strain will likely keep him out of Germany game and a very good chance he will miss the Portugal game.

Positives: The way he pulled up, he was grabbing the hammy which would indicate a pull. Were he grabbing lower to the knee it would be a tear.

like nailing jello to the wall until tomorrow.

Give the man respect for his clairvoyance.
He said in a interview yesterday, he dreamed that he would score in the 88th minute. So it was the 86th - fine with him.

He really did say that!

If I was Müller I would have slapped Pepe right in the face... (doesn't matter if you can not really consider it a headbutt yet he was invading Müllers space in a very agressive manner...)
I was actually surprised how mad Müller can get since he is always so friendly and just nice and funny when he is interviewed...

But play acting while your team is already 2-0 is okay?
Pepe lost his cool (again) but that bump was not worthy of a red.

if you poke your finger in my face I will either jump in your back from behind OR be smart and let some one who "can jump into your back without even touching you" make a decision...

pretty sure Müller was exaggerating though - still pepe could have just left his fingers out of Müllers face and all would have been happy...

Can anyone explain why Ghana didn't play their best players? The *bleep* was their coach thinking? Worst decision was probably playing a God like Asamoah at left back rofl
