He's a good defender. Not anywhere near WC yet IMO. Makes up his for his brainfarts with decent passing and overall understanding with chiellini and barzagli.
In the 2nd set tier of top defenders I think

Re: - Bonnie | Leonardo Bonucci #18
If we move to a back 4, he is less suited to that. We would have too many CBs in a back 4 system and he would bring a lot of money without really decreasing the quality of the starting XI
Makes sense, so long as we don't replace him. Especially not with Ranocchia that useless *bleep* *bleep*

Its not his problem ? What are you talking about ? Did you even watch the goal and where was Bonucci's position there ?

So you deduce that its not his fault when he was standing idle watching Gervinho flicking the ball towards the net ?
Seriously man....

Re: - Bonnie | Leonardo Bonucci #18
It was a counter attack and he pushed up for the ball but didn't get it, the wing backs didn't have enough time to drop back, and was that the same play that Pirlo gave away the ball?

Re: - Bonnie | Leonardo Bonucci #18
Bonucci was clearly at fault on that goal (if it was him), I thought it was Barzagli but whoever just stood and watched Gervais should be blamed more, notwithstanding i don't think Bonucci was the worst player on the pitch,
Marchisio, Pirlo and Vidal should equally share that post....

Re: - Bonnie | Leonardo Bonucci #18
It may not be entirely his fault but that was some amateurish defending/anticipation from him on the goal.
I really wish Ogbonna starts over him.

As i said earlier He's basically an Italian Pique/Luiz.People fap over his ball playing skills but in reality he's just an average defender.

Actually its Bonucci that lost the ball to Pjanic,so basically he was at fault, twice

Ogbonna let strootman free... if he marked him, there wouldn't have been a goal or even a crucial cross

Re: - Bonnie | Leonardo Bonucci #18
Bonucci is a very good ball distributer
He's an average defender
I hope we sell him, and finally move away from this 20th century, back 3 nonsense.

@Tom
He is the defender that played most matches this season I guess. Conte really relies on him

Re: - Bonnie | Leonardo Bonucci #18
He's the best sweeper in the back 3 system by a mile
But that's not an issue if you don't use a sweeper or a back 3
He's the most error prone CB we have, and we really should move on from our system.

Its ok, even the greatest make errors. He is relatively young compared to experienced chiello and barz... trust me, chiello used to make as much mistakes
