Great win overall. Gervinho could not be handled today by Verona. A complete performance from him. He just may finally be hitting his pre-injury form at the right time.

Important for us to capitalize on Juve and Napoli's mistakes. We need Juve to draw or lose at least 2 more games before May though in order to re-open the race.

Yep, we need to be -2 when the Juve game comes. Then we could really see if we are worthy of the title.

Damn, why didnt that Totti chip went in.. what a goal that would have been

It's not easy to take points from Cagliari (for top teams)... Napoli and Juve had hard games away there (Juve played very bad until Marchisio came from the bench and scored a nice goal), Roma dropped points home with them too...

Great performance for Roma today in the 2nd half, under pressure in a beautiful atmosphere on Bentegodi, they managed to come back so quickly after Verona's equaliser... Juve will have a strong opponent this year for the scudetto.

Seems like we're starting to gel. Although the goals came in the last minutes, I thought we were very impressive. We attacked well and created chances, just had trouble finishing them. Defending wasn't that bad either tbh. There goal came from a Goalkeeping blunder.

Totti penalty. Torosidis picked the pocket a Verona defender and streaked into the box and then dived blatently to win the penalty.

I don't like us scoring goals this way honestly. That was an awful decision from the ref.

Fiorentina forward Giuseppe Rossi should be available to represent Italy at the World Cup after being cleared to return to action in two months.

It had been initially feared that the 26-year-old had ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament for a third time when he was forced off in the Viola's Serie A clash with Livorno on January 5.

Rossi was first ruled out for six weeks before a secondary prognosis suggested he could be out of action for far longer, putting his World Cup hopes in jeopardy. However, Fiorentina were able to issue a positive injury update on their prolific striker on Tuesday.

"Giuseppe Rossi has recently completed a follow-up visit from knee surgeon specialist Richard Steadman," read a club statement. "He has shown good stability of his recently injured knee.

"The player will continue his fitness rehabilitation, which we expect to take two months."

 cheers

Does anyone here support/watch Napoli regularly?

If so, how's Reina doing? Will they be looking to sign him up in the summer? They just signed Andujar from Catania,

Reina is doing  very well ,  nothing to do with last year , Napoli fans are extremely satisfied about him

Andujar was taken simply as reserve . if Reina won't remain to Napoli the regular player will be Rafael (2nd goalkeeper, very promising )

Not sure I agree on either point. Reina has looked shaky at times so far. That may be down to the backline in front of him, but he's had some difficulty when facing prolific sides.

Beyond that, Andujar isn't signing with Napoli just to get benched by a youngster. He's been a starter with Catania for several years now and is in the prime of his career. I would say he is Reina's direct replacement with Rafael being the #2 or possibly going out on another loan.
