I think they mean the entire construction costs would amount to 300m and above.

It would be 300 mln to buy the land where to locate the new stadium (without including the amounts to build the stadium .. therefore Milan would spend much more 'than 300 mln ) , this is the reason because they are looking for Sesto San Giovanni, hoping the lands are less expensive ( Rho is Expo side).
Juve bought the land (where it build the new stadium) for only  25 mln at the time , taking on only 120 million for Juve Stadium's building

Wow thats crazy.300m just for the land is a big ripoff. How many square meters does it hold though ?

And Juventus bought the land in 2003 if i remember correctly. If Juve were say, looking to buy the land now,i'm sure it would've been a lot more expensive.

The 2013-14 Calcio Saga Episode II - Page 40 Empty Re: The 2013-14 Calcio Saga Episode II

Post by M99 Fri Feb 14, 2014 2:54 pm

Lazio president Claudio Lotito has slammed the treatment of youngster Joseph Minala after the 17-year-old's age was called into question.

Rumours on social media rapidly circulated that the Cameroonian had lied about his age with one website suggesting he was 42 - a claim furiously denied by Lazio, who were quick to threaten legal action.

Lotito believes Minala deserves to be treated better by the public, particularly given his tough path into professional football.

"The guy has suffered so much. He was able to stand up while being part of a tough situation. He's a victim of a sick system," he told the Corriere dello Sport.

"He's a guy who has been tried by life. You know his story: he arrived in Italy and was assigned a guardian. Apart from anything else, Minala should be respected as a human being.

"They say he looks like a 40-year-old? Can you tell me how a 40-year-old could stand the pace of the game?"

Lazio have been unequivocal in their support of Minala, releasing a statement on Wednesday threatening action against those doubting his age.

"We reserve the right to take action against those responsible for the protection of the good name of the company and the footballer," it read.

The player himself also dismissed the rumours, telling the club's official website: "I have read the alleged statements posted on the website senego.net in which it says I confessed my real age which was different to what was stated in my [official] documents.

"They are false statements that have been attributed to me by people who do not know."

Yeah because there's no old timers in Serie A Laughing dat logic.

Also, Berlu won't even spend £50 on a player without a sale or two, asking him to spend 300 MILLION on a peice of land is like asking me to stop ordering kebabs every Weekend. Insanity.

Lotito is a moron full stop. It's unpredictable that he's defending the ridicule that this player is getting, but you'd think he'd do a better job of it Laughing

Joseph Minala’s agent has revealed that his client has been ‘shaken up’ by accusations about his age.

Rumours surfaced this week that the Lazio Primavera prospect was not 17, but in fact 41-years-old.

And his representative has claimed that the Biancocelesti and the teenager will take legal action against anyone who claims that the Cameroonian is a fraud.

“The boy has been shaken up by these unexpected rumours,” Diego Tavano told FootballPlease.

“I don’t understand why there’s been so much talk.

“If all this talk continues then we will take legal action against anyone who keeps persisting with this rumour.

“Joseph is a great prospect for Lazio.”

There's one way to tell for sure

If he's above 30, his career mode FIFA stats should decline sharply over the course of a season hmm

Go this of bigsoccer Roma forum :

Roma's Mayor:

"Today I learned that in a few weeks Roma will be able to submit the project. President Pallotta spoke of an investment of one billion Euros, which is obviously welcome to a city that needs a revival. The American management in early December started the technical dialogue necessary. We do not have an official project, but I could get many details to confirm that the project is very beautiful, very professional. It is an extremely exciting project"

The sooner we break ground, the less skeptical many Romanisti will become. We've seen many pretty words from both sides, but no concrete progress. Only a ground-breaking is going to really get fans excited about this. A stadium of our own is the best way for Roma to truly distance themselves from the rest of the pack and join Juventus as an elite Italian side.
