Calcio Saga 22/23
Serie A will adopt a "salary cap" from the 2023-2024 season. A club will not be able to spend more than 80% of its income on transfers, salaries and agent commissions. [La Repubblica via @Guillaumemp] pic.twitter.com/T902UQ3g9X

Re: Calcio Saga 22/23
bit of a stinker for the opening weekend eh
top 4 predictions;
Inter
Milan
Roma
Juve
as it stands anyway, may change that if Juve make a couple more signings

Re: Calcio Saga 22/23
also what do you expect for Napoli?
Tons of players that have been the pillar of the team have left this summer. They replacing them with any talent? not heard anything on that front
wonder if they'll fall into a period of obscurity

I expect Napoli to have a brutal transition phase and not qualify for CL. If you look at their squad it's not very exciting.

There's no way we're winning the league this season, not with such a poorly constructed squad and not with a coach that's still stuck in 2015

Same Firenze.
Others have made shrewd transfers but seeing a fresh 2nd Mourinho season and with the back he has now is going to be a treat, along with their revamped squad.

I haven't felt that good since Denzel Dumfreis scored against Lecce on '94

CDK is going to be a 100M player. Will make a hype thread to explain why. Scary potential.

His 25 mins on display really showcased himself, he’ll be an insane player if he reaches his potential, top 3 in his position potential.

Re: Calcio Saga 22/23
Yeah CDK does look like a big deal. In Belgium everyone was hoping he went to Milan instead of Leeds, they have big hopes.

Yep, more than glimpses of genius. He was brilliant. Vlahovic too, fantastic game.
Juve had fun again.

Re: Calcio Saga 22/23
I officially announce ხვიჩა კვარაცხელია as the heir to Kakhaber "Kakha" Kaladze.
Yes they play in two entirely different positions. Yes one is for Napoli, one was for Milan. No, it has nothing to do with their shared nationality.

What a start for Kvara, Paratici ended up being a bad DS but always a top scout. We should have gone for this kid when we had a deal with him back then.

He needs to start. Messias is NOT starting material. Either play CDK/Diaz in his position or put Rebic there while Origi/Giroud plays CF.

CDK or Adli, im just tired of seeing Diaz. In the last 2 games, CDK made 2 incisive passes on through goal, something that Diaz hasnt done in 2 years ffs
