Forza wrote:BIG MATCHDAY IN SERIE A

Before the International break we had Inter v Roma, Juve v Milan, and Fiorentina v Lazio...

Headlining this week are:

Roma v Napoli
1st v 2nd. Roma face their toughest test so far. Will their winning streak continue?

Milan v Udinese
Crunch time for Allegri to turn this around. Balo back from suspension.

Fiorentina v Juventus
One of the most bitter rivalries in Serie A. The title-holders against the ambitious Viola.

GET IN!

Which games will you be watching?

Higuain on the bench. Does that mean he is fit enough to play the last 30 mins or so?

Edit: DAM on the stands Proud

Edit2: I feel like this Gervinho is an entirely different footballer than the Arsenal one. The quality of his movement and link up play amaze me in a way he has never caught my eye before.

These past 15 minutes have been all Roma. Pjanic looks dangerous. Napoli are playing counter attacking but have only stepped on the opposing pitch once and Callejon was not able to control that ball. And even when they do have the ball they are not able to string 3 passes together because of Roma's intense pressure. I wonder for how long Roma can keep this up.

The quality of Serie A

Awful match considering these two are top two in Italy. I might as well start watching Ligue 1.

What are you on? Roma played great football, especially in the first half. They pressed high, generated chances, relied on quick one or two touches. They were not able to carry the same intensity into the second half but they managed to keep Napoli out of the match. Napoli played like, well, a Benitez team.

They are top two alright, but for how long though ?

Going by what you're saying ,you'd have to think that Liverpool vs Arsenal is what England's best has got to offer this season then.

Besides Roma played some excellent brand of football anyways.Still this game showed Totti is their most important player. They looked good but still not at their best when Totti was taken off.

Liverpool vs Arsenal would certainly offer much more entertainment than what I saw tonight. It certainly has offered more in the past and will do so even more now that both teams seem to be on a high note.

From 65th minute onwards the physical level of Italian teams drops to levels I genuinely have not even seen in EPL's relegation zone teams. So *bleep* slow, poor touches, lack of movements...there was a point where me and my father looked at each other like "why the hell are we watching this shit".

No wonder Italian teams have been so consistently shat in Europe.
