Start at 0:35. Kovacic making his best impression of Baggio. The first touch, the dribbling, the pass, that kid has it

Seems like Galliani is very likely to leave Milan at the end of the season or so says Di GOAT.

Not as bad as most think. Sassuolo are a better team than the one that got thrashed by Inter weeks ago.

Not worried much tbh. International break is needed though so we can get Destro, Totti, Benatia and Gervinho healthy. When that happens, I expect us to pick up where left off after the Napoli win.

We should have trashed them. We look very good in the second half, Ljalic just didnt find the net sadly and should have been awarded a penalty.
We looked very mobile and fluid with Pjanic at false-nine postion.

Damn, juve got an offside goal.. again

Di Marzio wrote:Milan is pondering the future of coach Massimiliano Allegri. After yesterday’s discussion after the match between director Adriano Galliani and president Berlusconi, today there are ongoing phone conversations and meetings within the club to make the final decision after there were some doubts on the initial decision of keeping Allegri. At the moment the coach is safe, but they are evaluating other options. Inzaghi is one of them, but also former Under 21 coach Denis Mangia is being considered. There will be updates in a few hours as they seek the best option.

Although Pippo is being nurtured for being a Milan coach in the future, now is not the right time for him.

To be honest I would much rather have Pippo just because I know he will show some passion and I am 100% sure the players would give him more respect than Allegri.

I'm still of the opinion that both Inzaghi and Seedorf are too close to the current squad to effectively manage the team. It is no coincidence that Montella, an extremely capable young coach made his most questionable decisions as a tactician when caretaker at Roma over a squad where he was a former team mate of the likes of Taddei and Perotta who received far too much playing time.

I want Inzaghi and Seedorf to have their time on the Milan bench in the future and I believe both will succeed as coaches, the latter in particular I suspect, however for now I feel that if we do change, we need a drastically new pair of eyes at the club.

I think bringing in someone like Inzaghi or Seedorf right now isn't the best idea. I think they would still probably do a better job as Allegri is doing now, but to expose them to the top job at a time of crisis and at the beginning of their coaching careers would ruin them forever if things went awry. That being said, I think we need someone who understands the dynamics of the club and club management and has been following our season thus far. We don't want someone who is so far removed from Milan that they are naive.

It depends entirely on the expectations put upon an incoming coach. Are they to be a caretaker whose job it is to stabilise the team and whose primary objective is to obtain results? Or should they come in as a legitimate replacement whose job it is to instil a particular style? Should they arrive with a focus on giving opportunities to youngsters at the possible expense of results? What is more important, trying to define a style from the chaos of our play or ensuring we at least make the Europa League?

Until we have definite views on what the role of any replacement should be, we're probably better off waiting rather than throwing someone else to the dogs and as you said, I'd rather see Inzaghi and Seedorf not put in such an awkward situation.
