He has 113 goals and 56 assists in 242 appearances (196 starts)...  Better goal ratio (0.47) than all the top 10 goalscorers in Real Madrid history other than Di Stefano, CR7, Puskas and Hugo Sanchez.  Benz will reach the top 10 in 2 seasons time and have better ratios than Raul (0.44), Pirri (0.3), Butragueno (0.33), Gento (0.3), Santillana (0.45) and Amaro (0.33).  He has more assists than any other CF not named Raul.  He'll be in the top 5 after the next 3 seasons.

Add to that, he's the 3rd leading active scorer in CL with 37 goals (to go with 17 assists) in 65 games behind Messi and CR7.

Has averaged 25 goals and 14 assists the last 4 seasons.

It's a question of positioning Valkryja.  CR7 is not the last man when he gets the ball 90% of the time.  He uses the runs of the CF (Benz or whoever else) to create room for himself to score.  He has the option to pass or shoot.  A CF is that final man and often doesn't have much option other than go for goal.

Now at Madrid, we play more a 9,5 because Ronaldo will make that run and can be picked out, whether on a cross or linkup.  That's why Benz averages 25 goals as opposed to 30 and 15 assists compared to the normal 7-10 that a CF should get.

You take away the CFs scoring opportunities with Ronaldo and Bale... but you give him more chances of making the final ball.
