Eh, that happens every f*cking time in PL.

When big teams win away games, its usually 2-1 or 1-0.

Yeah, this is my only concern going into the Arsenal game. Arsenal is easy to open up with an inside cut with speed, which was something we were very good at with Bale. However, I haven't seen the new squad pull it off yet with any great degree because we haven't settled on a central play maker. Dembele looked tired today honestly, and I would still like to see Holtby in the position once he's healthy.

As with all North London Derby's, you can pretty much throw tactics out of the window though.

I agree, but to be fair what did you want Hart to do?

All 3 goals resulted from poor defending. The first goal he made the important first stop, but 3 city players just stood there and watched as a player ran in for the rebound. The other two were off of free kicks, the first one scored on a back post header which he was never going to get to, but the third one I could see being to a degree his fault.

Benteke is not Drogba or Shearer ffs. Calm down

He only took one shot against us last week difference is Mignolet bailed out your defense which Cech couldn't do.

It's amazing what one line can be translated to in this forum. Something-red asked why Kolo was getting all the credit for shutting down Benteke, so I showed the heat map that displays that Benteke was in his pocket the entire game long. I didn't say anything about world class, or masterclass, or best defender in the league. I especially didn't mention Chelsea, who I couldn't give less of a crap about. All I said was "I'll just leave this here." In fact, you quoted it, so I'm certain you saw that.

Deal with your insecurities about your team on your own time, not everything is an attack on them.

Because i forgot Cech.

And when i think about it, i feel that Begovic and Mignolet are better keepers. But they play for clubs who doesnt get the same attention as ManU.

Good to see Campbell scoring again especially after the injuries he has suffered. Another England call up on the horizon ? Very Happy

Have to say I had to laugh at Pardiolas post match interview yest. Dunno who lost the plot more him or Kinear, think he has been spending too much time reading skunkers.

Alan Pardew: "West Ham came and played long ball football"
Match stats - Long balls: Newcastle: 44 West Ham: 38

Newcastle United are king of the long ball in the Premier League.

Despite possessing the flair of Hatem Ben "the worlds greatest" Arfa, Papiss Cisse and Yoan Gouffran, the Magpies went long a whopping 2,283 TIMES this season.

Not sure how true this is, but former Manchester City assistant manager David Platt apparently told Al Jazeera:

"If Mancini and I were still at City, Hart wouldn't be there. We decided to sign Asmir Begovic."

y mad lol

@ Spurs not scoring from open play:

Paulinho could have had a hat trick today (PAULINHO FFS  ) if he had better finishing. Rarely will he miss all of those. Then there were a couple other chances like Dembele as well. Tottenham were unlucky not to be 3 up by halftime...with better finishing, Tottenham are winning that game like Man Yoo won. Rarely will the ball just not go in the goal like it did today. That being said, Tottenham created chances. Apparently creativity isn't a huge problem.

Even last week, Chadli, Sigurdsson and Defoe all had clear cut chances and probably should have scored. They score? It's 4-0. It's not unrealistic to expect that one of those goes in, in which it's an easy 2-0 score last week as well, with a goal from open play.

Tottenham only struggling to finish chances, and that's an amazing problem to have. I'm not concerned.
