You don't see how it's relevant that the people who made 4 out of those 6 signings aren't around anymore?  For the record, that's more than 80m of the 100 you're talking about, and the remaining two players only "failed" due to injury problems (keep in mind they've only been there for one year).

But no, the fact that the management team that made those purchases is no longer affiliated with the team doesn't matter, because we all know it's the crest and team name that made the mistakes.
