I think Moyes has given Rooney a clean slate, his previous issues were with SAF and I don't think Moyes has any problem with Rooney nor Rooney with him.
Looking in great form, should miss pre season every year ffs

Rooney being captain with Giggs on the pitch. Moyes worked on Rooney's confidence.
PS. The atmosphere on Old Trafford was magnificent.

Rooney's in great form but he doesn't deserve to captain us now or never. Unless, Rooney, shows some sort of commitment to the club. Which he hasn't, according to his last post-match interview.
Honestly, I just think it's one of many techniques Moyes is using to get him to sign a new contract, and if it is, he's giving Rooney too much power.

Chicharito's movement on that goal to lose enrique
one of the most active players off the ball in his movement, it really is a beautiful thing to watch him work off the ball.

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
he seemed more annoyed by the question more then anything, at least he realizes the fans are still behind him. I unno it still is not 100% that he asked to leave, and if he didn't you can understand his annoyance.
at the end of the day he keeps putting in great performances for the club and I can respect that, especially if he is unhappy he is still giving his all. At least says something about his character, he wants to win happy or not he isn't going to half ass it out there.

I think it is 100%, because SAF said he did, and he had no reason to lie. Plus, Rooney not answering the question directly doesn't help.
But I do agree, if anything he has shown, it is his professionalism giving everything to the cause and I applaud him for that.

Only caught the match from the 75th minute, but pleased with the win. It's always satisfying beating Liverpool, and it's exactly what we needed after that derby day drubbing.
Pleased Hernandez got the winner.

Robin van Persie and Tom Cleverley have trained ahead of Saturday's visit of West Brom in the Barclays Premier League.

We've got the team news and it's another strong United side. Wayne Rooney is captain once more and he'll be up front alongside Chicharito.
United: De Gea; Jones, Ferdinand, Evans, Buttner; Nani, Carrick, Anderson, Kagawa; Rooney (c), Chicharito. Subs: Amos, Evra, Welbeck, van Persie, Valencia, Fellaini, Januzaj.
WBA: Myhill; Jones, McAuley, Olsson (c), Ridgewell; Yacob, Mulumbu, Amalfitano, Sessegnon, Sinclair; Anichebe. Subs: Daniels, Dawson, Popov, Lugano, Rosenberg, Berahino, Dorrans.

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
wtf did i just watch, because that was not Manchester United in red today, what a disgusting performance....didn't see that desire in the final 20 mins of the match to get it back, hemming teams in there own end and keeping pressure on them, instead I saw us stand around while West Brom just passed it around in our half
Ferdinand had a shocker today, and with Buttner on the pitch at the same time it was always going to mean goals.
Kagawa coming off for no bloody reason is the question of the day, wtf are you doing Moyes?

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
Nani played really well, put in two really good crosses for Hernandez in the first half, carried it on in the 2nd half.
I don't understand Kagawa coming off at half-time he created our best chance in the first-half, Anderson's header, even though it was wrongly called offside.
Ferdinand for the first goal was really poor. Buttner tries to go through players in his own half, I don't really understand him.
Sessegnon ran rings around us today. West Brom could have scored much more.
I think this is the type of game where SAF would have bought on RVP for someone other than Rooney or Hernandez and tried to play all three at the same time.

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
Rooney and Kagawa looked like they had some good link up beginning toward end of first half, then Moyes takes off Kagawa....I love Januzaj but really? was bringing on a kid what the team needed? no. what we need is a midfield player that we don't have because of our joke of a summer.
Carrick + Fellaini midfield 2 is maybe the most predictable midfield I've ever seen.
Cleverley should play with one of them not both them together, to much standing around and no movement

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
To lose at home to WBA is completely unacceptable. makes it even worse that City,Spurs and Chelsea dropped points. Complete shambles of a performance. Nani hold your head up high, great performance by him.
Rio is done. Don't play him again please unless we have to. Woah he was shet today, what on earth was that defending for WBA's 1st goal? Their player just strolled right through him with ease.
Buttner is the defensive version of Young. Useless defender. We were basically playing with Jones and Evans as our only defenders.
Anderson is so bad....like really bad, makes me want to gouge my eyes out watching him huf and puff for breath out there.
Why did Kagawa get subbed at HT is a mystery to me.
I can't be bothered to fully analyse this match. What the fck has happened to this team? We are in the bottom half of the table............in late sept!!
Moyes...I'm really worried for him. This job could be a bit too much for him. 3 defeats in 6 matches is incomprehensible for a club like United, regardless of the fixtures we had.
We had an opportunity to mount a decent run up until November, but already we have fcked up at the 1st hurdle.
My low expectations for this season is what's keeping me grounded right now, rather than being in rage mode.

Re: Manchester United 2013/2014 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
We have long lost that hunger and super intense intensity of wanting to win, which United players would normally show in skills, tenacity, speed, aggression, and unity on the pitch week in week out.
The current United is pale in comparison to previous champions.
