Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 6
Wtf made a big post talking about Kane and it disappeared.
I'll make it short this time, basically Kane himself has said he's happy just putting new talents over and helping others be 'pushed' over himself.
That's what he himself does. His biggest 'push' in the last 8 or so years was when he put the mask on again, and he was burried by Cena.
Before that, his last push came when he was carrying a small satchel around with him. And he ended up feuding with Rey Mysterio. Kane lost about 3 or 4 times in a row to him and that was that.
He's been jobbing a long, long time. Not in the mould of 3 man band or whatever, but he's a big name mid-carder who pushes talent through.

You forgot his actual biggest push, when he won Money In The Bank and then the World Heavyweight title feuding with Mysterio, Undertaker and Edge.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 6
have not watch wwe for over years but how can let the undertaker legend die, he carry wwe, when other big wrestler give so much trouble,
they try Ministry of Darkness & American Bad-Ass/Big Evil,
would not be great to end undertaker story some thing like this he take on the The Shield in Buried Alive match, then john cena/big show/ Brock Lesnar/Kane/Triple H all join to help Buried the undertaker for good & also set fire to grave,
then all you see is red smoke come out of grave, then WrestleMania the place goes dark , undertaker muisc play & the druids make a line to the ring, then red smoke comes out of ring, then you here undertaker, he say's he died but wont rest in peace, the light come on & there 2 big guys dress like the undertaker, they both call out the The Shield
they win the match & keep undertaker wins up in WrestleMania

Like I said, it's been a mid-card title for a long time. And even with the title, he ended up putting Mysterio and Taker etc over.

WWE.com is reporting that Sheamus suffered a torn labrum in his left shoulder at last month's Money In The Bank pay-per-view.
According to the article, he will be having surgery to repair the injury next week and will be out of action for four to six months.
"I've never in my whole life had to have surgery," Sheamus said. "I've always worked through pain. For the first time in four years, I'm going to be out of action."

Sheamus has been one of those without direction for a while, despite being a popular wrestler. An extended leave and a big return will do him good I think.

Agree with Tom.
Sheamus coming back in a surprise return, perhaps before WM can be a good thing.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 6
Hopefully not a Royal Rumble turn actually
Need an unpredictable RR for the first time in a long time.
A few people online are complaining that Harper & Rowan can't Wrestle.
Even though judging by their time before WWE/NXT they actually can. People don't seem to understand that they're meant to be brawlers. This gimmick has been put together very carefully, it would be a bit odd if two 300+ pound big cult members from the backwoods of 'Murica were performing fishermans suplexes and tilt-a-whirl backbreakers

Sheamus' character isn't really getting anywhere. He's already been a heel, so not sure what would be next for him.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 6
The biggest mistake WWE did with Sheamus is that they tried to make him into the new Cena, the Mr. Goody-Goody who smiles like a prick, makes lame jokes, and is supposed to be undefeatable unless shenanigans are involved.
His initial push as an Irish bad-ass who likes nothing better than to get into brawls would actually have made him bigger hit. but as always, WWE screwed it up with their short-sightedness.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 6
Yeah they did make him a mini-Cena
One Cena is more than enough.
Having a bunch of faces running around, picking up 1 clean loss every 2 years is just bad for business. At least CM Punk beat Cena more times than I can count.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 6
After watching this week's RAW, I just realised how fizzled out the Shield have become.
I would have thought that after them winning the United States Championship and the Tag Team Championships, they would bring up the names for the titles and be pushed in more elaborate storylines. But it is the same damn thing every time.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 6
That is what I like about Sheamus. He just wants to fight. He plays that part very very well, but ever since he lost the WHC championship, that side of him has fizzled out. I still think his in ring battles with the Big Show were one of the best I have seen in my short time as a WWE fan.Kamikaze692 wrote:The biggest mistake WWE did with Sheamus is that they tried to make him into the new Cena, the Mr. Goody-Goody who smiles like a prick, makes lame jokes, and is supposed to be undefeatable unless shenanigans are involved.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 6
We noted before that WWE officials were wanting to do Steve Austin vs. Triple H with Austin backing Vince McMahon in a fight for control of the company for next year's WrestleMania XXX main event.
That idea was proposed in creative but had never been agreed to. The Wrestling Observer reports that word now is that it's off the books.
No word yet on exactly why the idea was nixed but the idea of The Rock in Austin's role has been talked about as well.
At one point, the idea for SummerSlam was that Vince, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H would unite but later in the year they would split again with Triple H going heel.
