It's not just that, booking in recent years etc has left the WHC being a scrub title.

Any half-decent rivalry match is booked ahead of the WHC, and for good reason too.

Nobody gives a shit about this title 'rivalry'

The WHC title is pretty much a midcard title nowadays. At least before it was ranked alongside the WWE title.

Well I just think that the booking is also due to the lack of main eventers /superstars. It's also pretty stupid that they haven't vacated the title or something when it's without meaning now, especially since it's called a World Championship

Yeh like 10-11 years ago the 2 brands were properly split and there were a lot of main eventers. Nowadays there's barely any main eventers and the brands aren't properly separate.

They need to make a storyline which involves it being inactive temporarily, then have bigger superstars compete for it.


There's plenty of bigger names which would add prestige to the title


Like CM Punk, Lesnar, Kane, Bryan etc etc.

But the way WWE see it is you have


Jobbers
Lower mid-card/Divas
WHC + Mid-card + 2 scrub titles
WWE title challengers
Main eventers (Including the WWE Champ)


The WWE title has fallen into obscurity. It's on par with the other scrub titles


But having an actual main eventer gunning for it would work wonders.
The likes of Lesnar who aren't in the WWE title picture but at the same time is one of the main eventers.

there really is a legit lack of main eventers to have two equally important titles as there was some years ago.
Though there is a lot of potential in the current crop imo, and if the management pushed for more of the roster to main event status and gave them more promos it could improve. Instead of having 40 minutes of Diva action every single Raw

WAY too much exposure. Could be used properly. Meanwhile they're trying to push the likes of the Wyatts but give them 5-10minutes (Including entrance) per RAW.

Current main eventers competing for the WHC title wouldn't really work. The title has declined in recent years and it would be like dropping to the midcard. WWE have shown the WWE title is the main title.

Ring of fire match would've been much more intense half-way through the show with Promos building it up.
