With all the promos and hype etc, I thought there'd cut a long promo or something instead of a generic beatdown.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 6
WWE officials were happy with the way Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper debuted on last night's RAW, even though they were debuted in a segment that normally gets bad ratings.
No word yet on WWE's response to the crowd reaction but it's worth noting that they did not edit out the Husky Harris chants when re-posting the debut on YouTube and WWE.com.
There was immediate speculation that The Wyatts were gearing up for a SummerSlam match against Kane and The Undertaker after they took out Kane on RAW last night.
F4Wonline.com reports that The Undertaker may not be ready for SummerSlam as he's hurt again. Apparently Taker injured himself in his most recent WWE TV angle with The Shield a few months ago.
For what it's worth, WWE's goal with The Wyatt Family is said to be turning them babyface but that likely won't happen for a while.
________________________________________________________________
There has been talk of at least one WWE developmental talent debuting on TV soon, besides The Wyatt Family. That debut should be happening soon.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 6
Tbf there's only so much they could've done
Do a load of talking but not attack anybody, normally when this happens they don't fight anybody for ages
Jump somebody, which they did
Go into a match, with jobbers. I.E 3MB. Which is probably the worst.
Also, if wwe turn 3 monster heels with massive beards and a cult gimmick into faces then
Could be the most interesitng heel gimmick in a long, long time.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 6
Exactly
Please WWE
This is the least face like gimmick ever ffs
And we all know what happens when they become faces
They're prone to heels jumping them and giving them a beating. A la every face ever.
Also pandering to crowds. Going from calling them call sheep to something like "YOU PEOPLE, ARE WHAT MAKES 'MURICA GREAT YEEEHAAAAA"
That would kill their credibility.

Well at least something is going to happen with shield now I can see them interfering with a Wyatt match.

Not sure, two heel groups.
Plus the momentum is with the Wyatts, they'll probably inferfere with them eventually.
Might not be for a long time though. I see them feuding with Kane and maybe taker. With some random attacks along the way.

Well shield has met a road block in terms of progression so I could see them going face to stop wyatt family or something similar. Honestly I just want the shield to break up.

The shield will get a much needed lifeline if Ambrose wins money in the bank. I jizzed my pants thinking of a feud between him and Ziggler. If Ambrose does not win it then they will be involved with the wyatts sooner or later. and speaking of the Wyatts, that debute was meh, and the angel wont survive for long eiher, take my word for it

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 6
I could see the Shield becoming faces. The problem is, they have done so much as heels, to just turn them into faces would be very very odd.
Also, if they do face off against the Wyatt family, who is going to take the fall? Or rather, who is going to be given the fall?
There is no use hyping them up so much to bring either one of them down.
And, I don't really see anyone other than Ambrose or Sandow winning the World Heavyweight Money in the Bank.
Jack Swagger has fizzled out. Cesaro has been bumped into the same team as Swagger and it would be odd if Cesaro won it over Swagger.
Cody hasn't had a good angle since God knows how long.
Wade Barrett and FFFFAANNNNNDDDDDAAAANNNNNGGGOOOOOOOOOO, well, nothing has really happened for them, has it? Plus they aren't as entertaining.
Sandow may get it because he gets the crowd going, plus his angle with Sheamus has got to mean something. Right?
Ambrose would be the best choice because of his promo skills, can't say much about his inring skills though.
Honestly, the line up for the WHC is alright considering they are angling as the title shot for the best 'up and coming' wrestlers, but it has been promoted really really badly.
At least last year they had matches and stuff to determine who gets through (and also where I thought Tyson Kidd needs to get a push, he has got amazing in ring ability and with either some practice or someone on the mike to aid him, a la Heyman, we could see a great mid card player, if not upper)

Who do you guys think will lead the WWE once Cena retires?
Oh and I forgot, Maddox following in the footsteps of Teddy Long :')

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 6
Hard to say.
There might be someone completely new by that time.
From the current roster, Sheamus/Bryan/Orton are the top candidates.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 6
Yeh it'll probably be someone new. Someone who's young right now. Sheamus is like 35, Orton is 33, and Bryan is 32. Cena is 36 so let's say he retires in 5-6 years, all those superstars will be nearing 40.
Plus Cena could continue until he's Undertaker's age. Although by that time he probably won't be the top face.
I'm sure they'll want someone fresh and young being the new face.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 6
Loooooooooool
I reckon the massive guy with the ginger beard and lamb mask should become the main face. He could take part in dance offs and have two women dance either side of him
Call him dicso Lamb and have him suck up to the crowds of whichever state he's in by bigging up their baseball team.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 6
WWE officials are expecting the fans in Philadelphia at next week's Money in the Bank pay-per-view to treat Rob Van Dam like how fans in Chicago treat CM Punk.
The Wyatt Family will be working a six-man match at this year's SummerSlam pay-per-view, most likely against Kane and two partners to be determined.
_______________________________________________________________
We noted before that WWE wanted to do The Shield vs. Kane and The Undertaker at SummerSlam but word now is that Taker re-injured himself in the last WWE TV spot he did with The Shield where they put him through the announcers table. Taker could be out of action until WrestleMania XXX.
Regarding Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns defending at SummerSlam, it could be against the team of Randy Orton and Sheamus or the team of Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger. We noted before that Dean Ambrose will likely defend the United States Title against Christian at SummerSlam.
_______________________________________________________________
The current plan is to do Dolph Ziggler vs. Big E Langston at SummerSlam. At one point WWE wanted to do Big E vs. Mark Henry.
Ryback is expected to go over Chris Jericho at WWE's Money in the Bank pay-per-view, which would be Ryback's first pay-per-view win in almost a year. It's likely that Vickie Guerrero starts working as Ryback's manager and mouthpiece soon.
_________________________________________________________________
F4Wonline.com reports that word going around WWE on Tuesday was that Kane would be pulled from the Money in the Bank Ladder Match on Sunday, possibly being replaced by Bray Wyatt.
This would be to sell the attack from The Wyatt Family on RAW and keep the feud going. There was no announcement at last night's SmackDown tapings so we'll see what happens this weekend.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 6
We've noted before how The McMahon Family will play a key role in the WrestleMania XXX main event next year. As of now, the WrestleMania main event will be one of those deals where the winner gets control of WWE.
Vince McMahon reportedly won't be wrestling but will have a surrogate Superstar. Triple H will likely be wrestling.
Right now the plan is for Stephanie McMahon to be featured in the storyline through SummerSlam but her presence will be toned down after SummerSlam so the focus is just on Vince and Triple H.
_______________________________________________________________
There has been talk once again of having Layla turn heel on Kaitlyn. Layla was supposed to turn heel months ago but the idea was nixed after the first few segments had already aired.

Yeh that storyline shouldn't main event. Especially not if Cena/Undertaker and Lesnar/Rock is on the card.
