Thanks for the reply. As per kizz Jeffren is better than him. So why replace Jeffren with him? Is it because we want to make some money out of this or Jeffren insists being part of the first team and getting first team football?

4. Not sure Jeffren will stay. He just wants to see out his contract. The club may see it profitable to sell him now and he too many not want to refuse good offers.

8. Very similar to the squad that I posted in another thread. However Jose Angel is not coming. Also I am not sure if you are considering Mascherano as a midfielder or defender. Soriano may not be promoted either. Neither could Montoya for that matter.

9. The deal for A.Sanchez will happen even though the variables will be debated for some time. I think this will conclude only after the Copa America concludes or Chile exits the competition. Fabregas is more than 95% likely to come no matter how much we may dislike it. The player wants to leave, he won't consider any other club but Barca at least for the time being and all this forces Arsenal's hand. Now they are just trying to get as much money from us as possible and thus this saga could continue for some more time. G.Rossi is out of the picture. We were never going to sign both him and A.Sanchez in the same summer no matter what the media wrote.

10. Interesting. At times it's possible but it's not desirable. By and large I agree with dani. Yes we should not overspend but some amount of spending is needed. Some players need to be moved out. Thus you need more players and besides our squad is anyway small. I have also realized something else. At least one marquee signing is needed by every big club every summer to kind of provide a fresh energy and enthusiasm. Most of us want to sign one forward of that kind, not have anything to do with Fabregas and spend the rest of the money on a CB and maybe one or more cheap acquisitions. However Fabregas will almost surely come leaving us with hardly any money to get a CB and anything else for that matter. Also it seems we are quite interested in getting an LB. Jose Angel is going to Roma. Talks about Jose Enrique have died down. Hence other names are being linked such as Andre Santos.

One question related to a non-Barcelona transfer.

Would Carlos Tevez agree to move to Atletico Madrid? A nice exchange can be done with Sergio Aguero with or without some money exchanging hands, what say?

Atletico will ask Tevez + €10M (minimum)

Tevez doesnt desire title winning teams it seems, it isnt impossible. But I do see it as unlikely.

Guys I'm sorry that I haven't been posting much recently. The truth is, this transfer window is really frustrating me. Normally I quite enjoy thinking about who might join etc. but this year I've got no idea what is going on and no idea what is happening or why it is happening.

Do we need a CB? I don't know! I can see what Pep might be doing to cover that area, and I have no qualms with it, but then we're short a little on other areas.

Do we need a LB then? Again... not sure! In the big games I can see Abidal always starting, so 2 LBs on the bench?? Seems dumber than Madrid buying Coentrao.

Cesc? WTF is happening here? I haven't known for 3 years straight and the last 2 weeks are more puzzling than ever.

The forwards? The only thing I think I can be sure about is that I believe Sanchez WILL come. However, if we get rid of Bojan and Jeffren, which now seems likely... we'll only have 5 forwards. Do we need to buy another then??

I'm quite sick of it, bring on the friendlies already...

Nope 5 is enough, the problem before was Jeffren and Bojan were not capable of changing a big game or replacing Villa or Pedro when they are not fit or lacking form.

Sanchez and Affelay are.

Well I hope so, I believe so, but we don't know just yet.

Also keep in mind last year we had both Nolito and Soriano in the B team in case of disaster. I'm not sure whether we have such depth now. What would you do if Villa and Messi were injured? Serious question... because if that happened we wouldn't really have any other central players...

well, the kid seems to have some behavior issues (tendency to wild life etc...) plus I have hardly been impressed with any game I've seen him in the first team.

Don't say he doesn't have potential but I wouldn't fall in depression if he leaves

Hi guys, I've been away for a while and thus I haven't heard much transfer rumors... Could someone give me a quick update? (I'm too lazy to scroll through all the pages lol)

Apparently we're close to signing Sanchez (I thought we were close to signing him a month ago too ...) Any truth in that? Any other noteworthy, realistic rumors around?

LOL, nothing concrete on Sanchez apart from Udinese saying he has his heart set on Barca and we will try to do something but is not ruling out him staying, tbh i see it just a matter of time and will probably be sorted out once Chile's involvment in Copa America.

It also sound's like Barca will offer 34M+5 in future bonuses for Fabregas, no word of whether it will be accepted or not.

Other than that we have been linked with players not nothing concrete, Bojan is off to Roma for 10m with a buy back and is close to being done.

Jeffren sounds like going aswell , no word on fee and what club yet though.

Thiago signed a new contract with a buyout clause of 90m

Would've we need another forward btw if both Bojan and Jeffren leave? Even after signing Sanchez we'd only have four forwards plus Afellay who could play on the wings. That's a little too thin up front imo.

But he is a young kid, wasnt given a chance at all, let alone starting 11.
