How so? Keita brings in a completely different set of characteristics than Cesc.

I've always said this but Keita should get one more year since his role in the team has been pretty crucial even though at times he was not the person we wanted on the field.

If Cesc comes, he will slow the progress of Thiago and probably force the kid to leave. I fear that thiago wouldnt want to come back though(unlike Cesc).

One more year of Keita then Sergi Roberto should replace him

Yes sagnik I was disgusted too. I have asked this question on another thread as well.

Also this fellow claimed that Villa's goals return was not enough but why forget that he is not in his natural role and position, having to play second fiddle to Messi, is often away from goal and has to play off the ball most of the times than on the ball. Under these circumstances the kind of goals return and performances he's managed in his first season with us is quite commendable.

I can hardly see Pastore give us anything that we need. What he is capable of we already have players for and at the kind of price he will come he will be a luxury option for the bench. Probably one of the last names on my wishlist for the summer. Also if he is purchased then it would probably mean not buying Fabregas. Even though I am against buying Fabregas, his purchase is at least a better idea than trying to get Pastore.

So i see us getting Cesc for now, and both Sanchez and Rossi/ If we sell Milito, Maxwell and Jeffren, we could raise some money for transfers...I would loan Bojan for 1 year, to have time to build he's confidence back, and could get back and replace 30-31 years old Villa...or at least make him fight for his place. If we loose Bojan, we will need both Rossi and Sanchez....still, i think 2 forwards would mean adaptation problems. And i think even trough just time to time, Iniesta would do the winger job lovely, now that Cesc could come. So i don't see why would we need 2 forwards...we need to keep the group spirit. And Affelay may step up next year as well.

At the Center Back position i would love to see a new addition. And even trough i love Keita-s job at Barcelona...i don't know who would i pick if it comes to Thiago or Keita.... Still, we would not have anybody with that killing pressing that he makes, box to box mindfielding. So for the squads ballance i would say Keita...

I felt bad for letting Gio dos santos leave ...but as we see he had some problems, couse he didin't make it, still i would say Thiago is a bigger talent, for our sistem at least.

And I keep reading one day that Wenger is ready to sell us Cesc, then the next I read that Wenger has put his foot down again that he won't sell him. I dont really want Cesc back, but Wenger gets on my nerves for so many reasons
