Probably old news but Banuz, Ayala, Grimaldo, Patric, Minguel Angel, Quintilla and Dongou have all been promoted to the B team. Thoughts Free?

So we've signed an attacking midfielder for the B team from Man City's reserves
http://www.fcbarcelona.com/football/barca-b/detail/article/joan-angel-roman-b-teams-first-signing

video:

I wonder why they reinforced a position currently occupied by Rafinha, Sergi Roberto, Espinosa + Miguel Angel coming from Juvenil A

My guess is talent is talent, regardless of what we already have.

You never know what can happen. Nothing wrong with having too much talent at this stage.

Deulofeu was great for Spain yesterday, played mostly down the right, was probably the best player, got past the Greek LB regularly...and set up Jese's goal.

Some personal competition going on between them tho.

Watched second half and I thought Deulofeu was average.
He can do much better than that, especially consider that he is used to play vs. men and those were small kids.
He will tear the Euro sub-19 apart.

Jese got subbed off early in the 2nd and I stopped watching.

He was very good in the first.

I was a bit disappointed with Grimaldo in the first, not because he was bad,, but I expect more from him.

Next game is on Friday against Portugal on Friday, both need to be better so we can trash them Very Happy.

Tale of two halves, IMO...Deulofeu was a constant danger in the first half but was completely anonymous in the 2nd...Grimaldo, on the other hand was so-so in the 1st but was the best player for Spain in the 2nd

Geri still seems to get taken out of his game all too easily

Barcelona Usa? If I recall correctly, there were a couple of members of this forum that had played for this academy in california.

But I don't think their U-11 is the best in the world, considering they only won 4-0 against a Salt selection. (Salt is a town of 30.000 close to my town, Barça U-11 would probably trash them).

Also, I think that the best players of this academy usually get trials to our youth teams, and so far we got a couple of them (Ben Lederman and a two other guys), so it's fair to assume that our youth are better and if they are not, we will tap this american players in the future. Very Happy

FC Barcelona have signed Edgar Lé (18) and Agostinho Cá (18)from Sporting Lisbon Reserves for 900.000€. They were stars of Sporting's impressive B team and are currently participating at Uefa Euro U19s. Lé is a central defender who can also play as a right back. Cá is a central midfielder, good technically, good in the tackle and has good vision. It looks as if he may be groomed to play DM.

So...

IN: Roman (Man City), Lé, Cá (Sporting C.P), Dongou, Grimaldo, Juste, Bañuz, Ayala, Patri, Miguel Ángel, Jordi Quintillà (Juvenil A).

Oier
Balliu - Le - Gomez - Grimaldo
Ca
Roberto - Rafinha
Kiko - Dongou - Deulofeu

Grimaldo really disappointed me against Portugal TBH, but he was great today.Defoleu was threatening all game as well, made one chance for PAco early on that he shouldve finished.

Didn't like this performance that much though, No Oliver Torres and Jese no party Very Happy.

Edgar Le's agent has said that Edgar signed a contract with Barcelona without him and with the assistance of other agents. I assume the news will be announced when he is back from the U19 Uefa Euros.

Barça B signed a CB called Lomban, 25 years old.
Don't know about him, but I support the idea of signing a couple of veterans, so good signing.
Our new Armando. Very Happy

Yeah he is very arrogant too. Doesn't really ever look to pass to a team mate. Never thanks team mates when he is assisted.

I was more impressed by Denis Suárez I believe he's called. The former Celta boy.

And Deulofleu scores the winning penalty lol.

I was impressed with Oliver Torres, Suso and Denis after he came on, the keeper stepped up in the penalty shooutout as well.

Torres is amazing , i'm praying Barca don't sign him for La Masia they probably won't seeing as they have Samper already but I've seen Samper and this guy looks better.
