That's actually a good point; messi does choke indeed against good quality teams with good defenses. Recently he was owned by Nesta and before by Zanetti.

You are right.Baggio played amazing for his national team and for his clubs.Maradona, Ruud, Ronaldo Nazario etc. same.He has amazing teammates and he can't make anything on the football pitch.

1.Compare Barca's fans who only know to applause like in theatres with Celtic Glasgow's fans.Compare them with B.Dortmund's fans, Napoli's, Juve's, Inter & Milan, Stoke, Man United, Bayern, Poli Timisoara & U Cluj ( :lol!: ) .
2.He couldn't make happy the Argentinian population because he did nothing for the national team.
3.I won't remember Messi, but i will remember Scholes, Pirlo....Seedorf etc.

So he will not feel what Lavezzi have already felt for example, what Grosso, Buffon, Cannavaro, Totti & Co felt in 2006, Cafu, Rivaldo, Ronaldo in 2002 etc.He won't feel that sound on the stadium that makes you feel stronger.He will always feel...nothing.

Compare Van Basten with Messi...compare Ibrahimovic with him.Messi tried to push away Lampard in the semifinals at Nou Camp and he pushed away himself :lol!: Many of you weren't born when Baggio was playing but you talk about him Smile

It is very rare for baggio to score by dribbling past one player only, most of his goals he dribbles past 2 to three players (including the goal keeper).

Do you guys know of a player who can score by overtaking the goal keeper every time he's one on one with the keeper? I dont think we can name a single player.

Who else scored from a corner kick?

The guy is out of this world and to think that he had 6 knee surgeries, the guy is a legend. Respect.

Conclusion: Baggio didnt get past a single player in full 90 minutes. he just passed it everytime he got it.
3:10 of the Baggio video clearly shows difference between Baggio and Messi. He gets the ball in free space, he is unmarked, instead of attacking juventus defence he passes it. Imagine what Messi would do in that position?
I dont blame Baggio, because he was not that type player (even maradona didnt attack defenses like messi does). youtube videos give you wrong informations

in other hand so called best italian defences cannavaro viera zebina nedved owned by messi and each got yellow (and none of them argued for that they accepted it)

Baggio used to regularly dribble 2 or 3 players. Sometimes even 4 or 5. If you think he didnt consistently do this and you try to prove your point by showing one game where he didnt run at defenders much, then im sorry, but you should stop debating, because you know NOTHING of Baggio. I just dont understand how youre trying to argue with me when i watched Baggio throughout most of his career and you are relying on Youtube. But btw, Baggio used to regularly beat multiple defenders, but did pass the ball alot too. Messi does too. Sometimes its more effective to make a defense splitting through ball. Either way, Baggio is better at both dribbling and creativity, among most other things.
