Inter Could Make Roberto Baggio New Coach

Roberto Baggio could make a sensational return to Inter as coach as Massimo Moratti’s patience with Gian Piero Gasperini continues to wear thin.

Moratti has already tried to offer his coach some sage advice by telling him to change formation after a 3-4-3 against Palermo backfired on Sunday when they lost 4-3 in their first Serie A game of the season.

La Nazione now reports Inter are looking at the former Italy international as a possible replacement for Gasperini if things continue to turn out badly.

Baggio is currently studying for his coaching badges while he occupies a senior role at the FIGC (Italian FA) as head of the youth sector.

But, he could soon make a comeback to Serie A as he looks for a way back into football after his retirement from the played game in 2004.

Meanwhile, Inter have a chance to turn a corner when they welcome Trabzonspor to San Siro for their Champions League opener on Wednesday night.

it looks like gasparini has responded to the pressure as today he said that a 4 man back line is a possibility

And no Baggio Or any other coach...Baresi to take over with defensive tactics until a top coach is available or who knows,I've said Baresi should replace Rafa.

But in all reality,it's too early to sack Gasp.Maybe he'll come to his senses...

They give them out for completing courses at coverciano, Im not sure exactly how it works but once you get a certain number then UEFA recognizes you as a professional manager.

Edit: the reason why we are always able to churn out managers of the highest calibre is because the schooling they recieve at coverciano is the best in the world.

I mean, Moratti has been a cracking owner for Inter, but it's kind of annoying that he makes more public interviews about the team, formations, transfers, etc, than the actual manager.

He may as well manage the team at one stage

coz ever since Mou left we've been hiring care takers for when Guardiola's contract expires...He's Moratti's new obsession

I think Baggio would help you guys more if he actually suited up...
