People went crazy for Sneijder after he scored a deflected goal vs Brazil in the WC... I don't think the FK was fantastic, but I don't see how he's a flop either. Doesn't he have the 3rd most amount of assists in europe or something like that?

He has the most in the EPL at least last time I checked

And honestly if our strikers were more clinical then hed have the most out of any league in the world Laughing

.. I can't even remember how many absolute sitters He has served right into the box just ready to be slammed into the back of the net and almost all of them were just completely botched.

The thing is, that his goal+assists is the best thing about Podolski, and are not that great (same ratio as Cristian Tello). But his general play is a flop.

His heroics in one sided matches like vs. a 10 men Tottenham and the powerhouses West Ham, Newcastle and Reading, constitute half his goals and 70% of his assist count.

I actually defend germany in this time of hate towards them because of the economical tensions between south european countries and germany.
