I meant Podolski is a top 5 footballer and Top 3 attacker IN ARSENAL. Also, "big cluv syndrome" is a bunch of BS because he wasnt bad for Bayern, he just wasnt given a fair chance. Hes not flopping. Arsenal as a whole just sucks right now, and hes beimg played out of position. Before Arsenal went into crisis mode, despite still being played out of poaition, he was scoring once every 2.5 games and assisting a few too.

Are we laughing at Messiah already, or are we waiting until the season is over?

Podolski is a flop, let's be realistic. What has he done for Arsenal? Nothing, absolutely nothing. They won't even qualify for cpl next season and to add to that, if Arsenal sign another attacker, lets say someone like David Villa, his flopism will become even more apparent like it was with Bayern.

Podolski did his job at Arsenal , though he can do better. The real flop is Marin, but i never expected anything from him so he didn't really flop, just a bad player.

Podolski has been excellent. 10 goals and 8 assosts in half a season is something worth braggimg about for someone playing out of position. Yes he could do more in the builf up bit theres no denying hes effective. Also most of hia goals are important ones. He scorees when hes needed to.

Messiah, he didnt flop at Bayetn. Thats a myth. He wasnt given a fair chance to settle in.

Against Bayern though if Poldi is played on the left as usual i dont see him being that effective. Phillip Lahm knows Poldi very well. If hes played centrally though he could do damage.

Marin is only 23 and competing with Hazard, Mata, Oscar, Moses and Ramires... He was only ever bought with depth in mind. Hard to label him a flop with all that in mind. Also, raise your hand if you thought he was going to set the world on fire at Chelsea... *crickets*Nobody? That's what I expected.

The expectations were that Podolski was going to be Arsenal's savior. He couldn't save FC Koln from relegation last season, and Arsenal expected him to be their savior... I actually think Podolski's been good for Arsenal, especially considering he's not being played as an out-and-out goal-scorer. for ~11 m (I believe), I believe they're getting their money's worth from him. He has created or scored 12 times in 18 games for them this season when playing on the wing. Perhaps Podolski isn't the flop. Perhaps it is Arsenal's/Arsenal's supporters'/the media's expectations that are really the problem.

Podolski has been far from a flop. 10 goals and 8 assists playing under an infuriating system and out of position makes it impossible to label him a flop. Not even debatable.

And whoever (not pointing at anyone) says Javi was too expensive or isn't living up to the cash is either trolling or hasn't watched Bayern. He has lived up to every Euro of the money spent on him and has added a whole other dimension to their midfield every time he is on. Fantastic buy by Sammer.

Flopolski was supposed to come to arsenal to be their leader and RVP successor. He is far, far, far, far from that. He has not been abysmal, but definitely a flop so far. No giving enough considering his wages and expectations.

Expectations foisted upon him by you and others looking for an excuse to jump later (now), not necessarily the manager who actually signed the player.

If Podolski were meant to be RvP's successor/replacement he'd be playing in the same or a similar position, but he isn't. For the position he's playing his statistics and performances have been what you would expect. He hasn't flopped.

Who said this to you? lol, he was never supposed to be that... atleast not alone. He AND Giroud TOGETHER were supposed to replace van Persie's goals and they've done quite well in that regard.

I don't know why people keep insisting he's flopping lol, yes he's not the best signing in the league but he's certainly not a flop... atleast not yet.

If people believe he WILL flop, that's ok... I guess we have to wait and see but it's quite incredible that free_cat and Messiah are saying he's flopping already when quite clearly he's not.

It wasn't me who expected Flopolski to make forget RVP, it was arsenal fans and deluded Flopolski lovers.

Go check. His stats, I agree, are ok, even good, but you, me, everyone, knows that he is doing very little bar scoring a goal here and there, usually tap ins or loose balls in the box. He is pretty useless on the wing and completely ineffective vs top teams.

Poldi has been pretty good, I actually thought his work rate, his goals aside, was pretty damn good, ever since he was properly integrated into the lineup.
