But they should give him a pay per match played contract, otherwise he'd be to risky.

Well, in that respect everything would be fine. Just as player he'd be too risky on a full contract.Robbery wrote:But he's bayerns youth product he deserves a job even if he trains 6 year old'srwo power wrote:But they should give him a pay per match played contract, otherwise he'd be to risky.

Agreed here. He's a club legend and all, but his body just isn't the same. I'd let him train, sure, but he's not going to be getting much games anyways.rwo power wrote:Well, in that respect everything would be fine. I'd rather get Can some games than Hargreaves injure himself again.

Re: Bayern Munich - Transfer Lobby for Season 2012/13
He scored when he last played for City and made just one league appearance, I doubt if it will work. But I just hope Miracle can happen that allows him put all these Injuries behind him...
Re: Bayern Munich - Transfer Lobby for Season 2012/13
Apparently we are no longer after Drobny after his club demanded 3million, I think they must be really stupid for thinking we will pay that much for a 32years old back-up goalkeeper..
1million is the best we can do, we don't have financial muscles like Real-Madrid, Barcelona, United, City etc.
Now we've to look deeper, but wait a minute, Butt still have it in him, why can't we just persuade him to extend for another year or just keep Maximilian Riedmüller and Rouven Sattelmaier, and spend the money on better things...Like improving our youth team.
Our youth teams seems to lack talent these days, apart from Emre Can, Usami and Dale Jennings I don't see anyone making it to the 1st team, except for maybe Nicolas Jüllich who is already 22years Anyways.
and yeah we sign Wieser, don't know if you guys have heard about the transfer

Re: Bayern Munich - Transfer Lobby for Season 2012/13
"After Hildebrand renewing his contract and Hamburg's laughable demands for Drobny, I think it is my obligation to present my dream transfer.
Michalis Sifakis is only the 2nd Greek player (after Socratis) I consider as Bayern material. And because of his skills, character and work rate I believe he is what Bayern just looking for.
He is by far the best Greek goalkeeper, 1st choise for the National team (despite his recent injury), 28 y.o experienced and he will be very glad for playing to Bundesliga esp. for Bayern. He would have no problem being Neuer's back up but he'll never give up waiting to grab his chance.
I believe he could be a starter in almost every European team (except those having a world class goalkeeper) and he'll sign for Bayern for free as his contract expires at 30-06-2012!
I don't know if he'll be ready for Euro but if he will his price will be raised. So we better sign him now.
I know that he is probably out of everyone's book but consider this. If someone comes here and say that Drobny costs 3M we will not just only laugh!"

Re: Bayern Munich - Transfer Lobby for Season 2012/13
As things currently stand, Bayern seems to be interested in Fabian Giefer (22) from Bayer Leverkusen as 2nd GK.

He lacks experience and obviously he's not a national team 1st choice.
Re: Bayern Munich - Transfer Lobby for Season 2012/13
Meh, any half decent guy will do. Not like he'll get much playing time with Neuer around...

Re: Bayern Munich - Transfer Lobby for Season 2012/13
Well, if you read the article, the problem for any second keeper is that he will be the Nr.2 and won't displace Manuel Neuer. Getting a keeper who will be happy to come only for the bench will not be easy - especially not anyone who would be / wants to be a national team first choice.

Giroud will zum FC Bayern | Live | Bundesliga | Ergebnisse | Ticker | News | SPORT1 | League
That's what I am talking about, shiit just got real. A 6.4foot monster, we mean business now
Montpellier attacker Olivier Giroud has admitted that his agent has been in touch with Bayern Munich to discuss a potential summer move.
"I haven't spoken with Bayern Munich personally, but my agent has been in touch with them," the France international was quoted as saying by Sport Bild.
"Bayern Munich are very well known in France because of all the positive experiences other French players have had there. They have all said how well they were received at Bayern, and how happy they were at the club."
Giroud doesn't fear that he will end up warming the bench at the Bavarians due to the competition from Mario Gomez for the striker position.
"It's not unthinkable that Gomez and I rotate a bit because of the huge amount of matches Bayern play in
Gomez and I are very similar even physically, But Gomez is so strong inside the box in the penalty area, while i shoot from outside the box.
I can understand that Gomez will be playing as number one in Fc Bayern, but Bayern has so many matches in the season, so i know i will have a turn, but when it comes to important matches, i know the Gomez will be the striker to play.

That's great to hear/read. More French power! (I really liked Olivier Giroud in the French NT friendly against Germany, too.)
There Giroud says that Bayern is more interesting for French players than other clubs as Bayern always had a history with French players and the ones he asked said they were received very friendly there and were very happy at Bayern, too.

Mertens rêve du Bayern Munich - RTBF Football
Again :
Mertens : Budesliga is my Favorite, and Fc Bayern is a great team, i want to improve and become like Ribery and the way he plays. We all saw how Bayern eliminated Real Madrid in the Semi-final in their own stadium. I only can see my self there ( Bundesliga and Bayern ).
Another guy selling him self to Bayern, its so obvious that he is so keen to join the german giant ...So lets get him !!! He will not be expensive, he is a very promising player, he is a real talent, he can be very useful as Ribery Back up, and after all he himself is dreaming of playing for Bayern.

If we can just keep getting great talent offering themselves up to Bayern this could be an interesting Summer.

Re: Bayern Munich - Transfer Lobby for Season 2012/13
As I elaborated in the "has Schweinsteiger a price"-thread:
Bayern do really need a destroyer-type DM. And I really mean "need", as in they'll get serious depth problems if they don't sign one.
Any of you guys got any ideas for affordable guys? Should be as good as Gustavo. Obviously I always think of the Benders, but Sven is never coming, he's a Dortmund starter, and Lars just extended with Neverkusen, so they're not realistic. Any realistic transfer targets out there?

I don't think another one is needed. Can would probably get a few minutes even if he's not completely a DM, but that's even better. Pure DMs nowadays are extinct.

Hm... if you look at the positions Emre Can plays according to transfermarkt.de, it looks as if Bayern want to raise such a DM from their own youth:

Bild report that Bayern sign Tom Starke for free transfer, however according to my reliable classified informant, it was for 1million Euro

No...My Cousin friends brother in-law works with Bayern, he tell him everything about Bayern and he lives in Germany.
He's also a Bayern fan, both of them
Please note that I was only told that Sahin is to replace Tymo by next season and Weiser should sign as well, but as for Can Replacing Van Buyten, I only said he's a candidate. that was my personal observation
