Apparently, Martinez agreed personal terms with Bayern. they're negotiating the transfer fee now.

It's official -> Dzeko out Mandzukic in. http://www.fcbayern.telekom.de/de/aktuell/news/2012/35504.php
Welcome Mario. Now there is only one Transfer Left. I believe we have 30M odd for Martinez. I dont think we will pay his release clause. Bilbao have absolutely said that his release clause has to be met

You have been strongly linked with Felipe Melo ...backup plan if you fail to sign Martinez ?

So just Martinez left then. Bilbao seem pretty confident they can get 40M out of him though.

F no. We already have enough destroyers in Gustavo-Tymo.Surag wrote:You have been strongly linked with Felipe Melo ...backup plan if you fail to sign Martinez ?
What we need is a more dynamic type. Martinez would fit the bill perfectly, but I doubt Bayern will be shelling out huge bucks for him.

Martinez will be a Bayern player, immediately after Euro
JAVI MARTINEZ
Hi Everyone..Been off a while..
Please whats this news i am hearing of us Buying Martinez Javi ?
Is it true..is the deal in good progress,,and honestly speaking, i think
iam heavily intersted in us getting him...i feel the Team will have a " Serious Depth"
Now..with Martinez....a spaniard...Gustav ..a Brazillioan..and Wonder Boy Alaba
marshalling the CB...that would be formidable to deal with.

Yes we're after Martinez, I really hope we sign him and probably another CB to take over Boateng or Badstuber place.

Did anyone of you see the press conference with Sammer? JAvi Martinez transfer seems more legit than i thought.
Sammer said something like " He is a very good player and i know him good. The bosses (Hoeneß,Rummenigge and co.) do like him very much and thing that he is a very good player. We will see what happens"
First official and direct statement about Martinez. If Martinez wants to come, the transfer will be made , im sure.

Sammer already sounds far more better than Nerlinger, who only says things like, players are not good enough for Bayern(Oezil/Khadira), Bayern don't need anymore signing, Bayern squad is strong enough to win champions league.
Lets face it, I know Sammer is way better than Nerlinger but even I could have done a better Job than Nerlinger.
and I also learnt apart from Martinez, Sammer also wants to bring in another fullback.

By the way, Maximilian Riedmüller seems to be on the way out of Bayern. He will have a trial with Ipswich Town during pre-season.
The decision would be logical as he has never had a match for the first team during his 2 year stay at Bayern, and as things look, 18-year-old Lukas Raeder will be installes as the new Nr.1 of Bayern II.

You know the positive thing about Bayern II's relegation?
The youngsters will have to fight for their lives because they're not playing (mostly) top team reserve sides. They'll be playing against men for whom it'll be the match of their lives.

Reporter: Can you now promise the fans that there will be one more big transfer in summer?
Sammer (grins): I thought I was that transfer!

Re: Bayern Munich - Transfer Lobby for Season 2012/13
Heynckes admitted today that we are after Javi Martinez and he already talked to the bosses from Bilbao. But he also said that his club wants to have the 40Mil. € from the buyout clause and that Bayern will not pay that much.
The financial poker can begin
But with Boateng and City it started the same way.

I hope we able to finalise the deal
Re: Bayern Munich - Transfer Lobby for Season 2012/13
It seems that Bayern have set their eyes on Lars Bender from Bayer Leverkusen after all as the Javi Martinez deal seems to be more difficult than thought.

Sammer denied this speculation, we're still searching for a suitable midfielder.
Benders are out of reach...
Re: Bayern Munich - Transfer Lobby for Season 2012/13
As the wish-transfer Javi Martinez (23/Athletic Bilbao) seems to fail due to the 40-mio-Euros buyout clause, there is sudden speculation about Leverkusen's Lars Bender (23/contract till 2017).
Did the Bayern already inquire about the international who is known to be one of the favourite players of Matthias Sammer? Leverkusen's sporting director Rudi Völler confirms indirectly: "Sammer tries to put things into motion, and he already accomplished somewhat."

Re: Bayern Munich - Transfer Lobby for Season 2012/13
Voller will not sell to us in a million years, he sold Vidal to our Bundesliga European Rival Juventus of Seria A, I dont see this happening.
Bayern should just sign Diego from Wolfsburg, I'm sure he can play as CM and it's not much of a big deal since Kroos can also play there...

Re: Bayern Munich - Transfer Lobby for Season 2012/13
Diego has no future. With Shaqiri also playing CAM in addition to Muller & Kroos,I doubt if Diego is even necessary.
Diego has 9M Wages & is already 28 odd.
