I know. The hit detection issues is the main reason why I don't feel tempted to play online until they sort it out. It doesn't matter how much of a pre-emptive advantage I have, as long as I have to empty 2 magazines in my opponent in order to kill him, and he can get a headshot on me by grazing my pinky-toe with a single bullet of his pistol. Anyway, my point is that if the game didn't have lag and hit detection issues (which they more likely than not will fix), I would probably enjoy playing this game online, because it really feels like a different game compared to Black Ops 1 and the MW-games. When people asked for change, I didn't realize that audio and graphics mattered so much.

Treyarch added new sound effects, visual effects and whatnot, and people seem to have mixed feelings about those.. so.. maybe Infinity Ward really are brilliant in the sense that they always manage to keep their consumers relatively happy by playing it safe Razz

This is coming from someone who has always preferred Infinity Ward over Treyarch, by the way. If we're unhappy with their minor changes, then do we want them to make major ones?

Yeah, I really dislike some the Black Ops 2 maps. Most of them look great, in terms of graphic design, lighting effects and vibrant colours, but they can't seem to get it right in terms of strategic design and overall enjoyment of playing on them. Also, I hate the new tactical equipment with a passion: There are claymores and bouncing betties everywhere, and they have been boosted significantly. I don't feel like using a wildcard or a perk slot, just to not have to worry about those things lying around every corner...

Most of those problems you speak of like connection and audio etc etc are there at the beginning of every COD game.

Usually 6 months down the line it's all fixed and that's when we see the true quality of the game what you are all playing atm is basically a beta.

The problem is not everyone sticks with them for that 6 months.

If you take Black Ops for example it's a totally different game than it was when it was released.

I'm sure all these issues will sort themselves out eventually but by the time they are GTA will be out so most people will leave lmao.

Competition on Xbox is better in general. PS3 is for causal gamers and Xbox is for the more serious gamer. I've heard this for just about every game that is available on both platforms. It's also quite understandable why: people who own a PS3 aren't paying for net and you are going to catch some "gamers" who are just trying out online.

Don't you find it annoying that it has too many passage ways? I keep getting killed from the back and from the side, and this is from someone with a high sensitivity setting. That stage gets me paranoid lol. Every room has like 4 or 5 entrances/exits.

When you learn the map inside out, you just know where the enemies always will be

And I love the middle with the 2 doors on each side, I get lots of kill at there

Also with uav up 24/7 you don't really have to worry to get killed from behind since no one is running with ghost Smile

btw do you play it on ps3 or xbox?

To be honest, I'm starting to dislike this game more, the more I play it. The lag and hit detection issues on PS3 are completely retarded, and people are try-harding to the extreme. I haven't seen that many campers in this game, but there are tons of passive players, and I really rarely see someone running around. It seems like people prefer to sneak around corners with their sights aimed down.

I seem to do well with the MP7. I can't really say I love any of the guns so far, I'm lvl 48.

The maps absolutely suck this year. Easily the worst COD this generation.

Agreed. I'm currently using Vector and Scar for their range, accuracy and decent damage output. My mags seem to run out of ammo really fast, with most guns in this game.

I played Black Ops 2 and Modern Warfare 3 on a friend's Xbox yesterday, and I noticed 1 distinct difference between xbox and PS3 players in those two games; Xbox players generally seem to hold to a slightly higher standard than the PS3 players, but they also tend to move around and camp in really predictable patterns/positions. So, my conclusions is that while you're more likely to run into players who have better reflexes and accuracy on Xbox 360, it's also easier to predict where they'll appear and to get killfeeds, than it is on PS3. Particularly on Black Ops 2, I noticed a lot of snipers on Xbox 360 who were camping in their spawn, or running in groups of 3 or more, through the most common paths towards the center of the maps. Also, spawn camping seemed to be a far more popular thing on Xbox 360 Rolling Eyes

Have anyone else who have played on both Xbox 360 and PS3 noticed the same thing?

I think the average Xbox player is more serious about their gaming then a PS3 player since try are willing to pay for online gaming. I think a lot of PS3 players are more casual players than Xbox players.

I don't really think that's the case for PS3 players, as a whole. You may be right about CoD players on PS3 generally being more casual, though.

It's kinda true. With the Halo franchise and GOW franchise, xbox users are kinda more into Shooters.

For Ps3 we have other kind of genre's where people are better.

Exactly. It depends on the gamer.
You find more 12 yr olds on Xbox.

Doesn't mean they pay for online (their mom does) and doesn't make Xbox the child's console.

Prestiged and am now level 40 again and I love the game minus the maps.
The only good new map IMO is Carrier but that's just personal preference I suppose. I typically just try to run around as I find camping boring and pointless. In a typical game I will have the most kills and the most deaths because I always run into 50-50 situations. My favorite gun is the FAL OSW with select fire (always use full-auto) it has terrific range and superb damage and I suggest that everyone give it a try.

I agree I also like Carrier. I'm also a fan of Hijacked.
A lot of bouncing Betty's. and I mean a lot. It's kind of annoying.

If any of you use the bouncing betty shock charge combo then f**k you. The people who do that are no better than the one man army double claymore noobs in MW2.

Also, I'm slowing reaching that standard I had in MW3. I nearly got my first 100+ last night playing Ground War and I'm working on a 500 SPM. And I'm starting to have fun with the game. I just wish you unlocked some of the bigger killstreaks a bit earlier. Last prestige I got like 4 swarms in my last 7 or so games in that prestige.
