The ACR is the most consistent, and probably the best Assault Rifle, overall (according to the vast majority of MW3 players). G36C is also a very good AR. The accuracy on it is slightly inferior to that of the ACR, but it seems to me that the G36C deals a bit more damage.

To some people, the "feel" of the gun - things like gun animations, appearance and the sound the gun makes when it fires, matters more than performance. In my opinion, the CM901 is the most average AR in the game (Sorry, RG Razz

), but it takes up a relatively small portion of the screen and it feels quite lightweight for an assault rifle (it´s also very accurate). These attributes makes it feel like a better gun than it actually is. The same can be said about the UMP45 in MW3. It´s a really average SMG, with it´s great accuracy (for a SMG) perhaps being it´s only strong point. However, it´s small and feels really lightweight, so it feels like a better gun than it actually is; If you feel comfortable with the gun, you may be able to use it more efficiently than you would a gun that deals more damage and is generally considered better.

In order to find a gun that suits you, you´ll have to decide whether you want a high damage gun, a high accuracy gun, a balanced gun, or just something that feels easy to use.

ACR with sleight of hand, Assasin pro and Marksman, Attachments (Silencer and big scope) And you can't go wrong. Majority of times I get 26-7, 20-4, 30-11 type of matches on KC. Beast of a gun.

I agree with you Thimmy about the cm901. It generally does suck, it has too much recoil...I have to put kick on it just so it doesn't shake when I fire with it. I'm only perserving with it right now because I stupidly decided to prestige again :facepalm:

Type 95 is a great weapon (very overpowered and is really good for shooting from long distance).

Well a very overlooked and underrated assault rifle is the FAD. When I played in a competitive match in a lobby full of people using ACR's, the FAD held up pretty well. The gun is like a hybrid of an AR and SMG. It has by far the highest rate of fire for an AR and also has increased mobility (just look at the stat charts, you can run faster with the FAD). It also has 40 bullets in a magazine whereas most AR's have 30. The ironsights are a bit weird though but you get used to them after a while. Ironsights still aren't as bad as like the M4A1 or the M60.

After going through the whole range of ARs, I have finally settled on the AK-47. The reload time and the accuracy with the gun is what set it for me.

Drop Zone is good because there are snipers who tax insert and you dont need to waste ammo or grenades to destroy equipment when you can just "prevent it".

I'm playing so shit in MW3 lately. A couple days ago I got 2 or 3 minute PP90 MOAB (rapid fire and ext mags) on Ground War and an assault MOAB with the P90 but since then... I dunno. I'm back on MW2 now and trying to get SitRep Pro but F*CK you gotta destroy 120 equipment! luckily there are douchebags out there that camp with claymores. And then there's boosters.

But I always find that when I'm bored of MW3, I'll have fun with MW2.

IW actually give out a bit of free stuff to players.

> Terminal
> Face off playlist (Aground and Erosion included)
> Double XP very often
> New game modes (Infected, Drop Zone, FFA Gunplay)

And they'll probably hand out more free content in the future.

I good the new maps yesterday and I like the face off maps, they're a really good size. I like Off-Shore. But Decommission is broke as f**k. That map is all about revenge spawns. You'll kill someone and they will spawn within knifing distance of you. I don't think i've gone positive on that map yet. And Foundation sucks, don't like it.
