That's actually the song I first heard which led me to picking up the album. Without "End of Days", I would never have found "Same Story (My Dedication)". I'm sure you've heard "Razorblade Salvation".



@Dmize, I just picked up that Styles album; I'll let you know what I think of it. Did you happen to hear Cassidy's last mixtape (Mayhem Music: AP 3)? One of my boys told me about it last month and I never got around to checking it out.

Nope, had no idea. I just d/led it though from datPiff. Beanie Sigel also just dropped an album but I hear it's not great at all.

I haven't listened to the whole of Vinnie's new album, but "End of Days" just stood out. Def gna check out the rest at one point or another

Razorblade Salvation would rank in my top 5 JMT songs. ( Actually one of the first songs of JMT that I heard, and I was hooked. Keeping in mind that I was never big on rap, the song transcended genre for me. )


You might (not) be aware, but this is actually the "first letter" that Vinnie talks about in Razorblade. So it's kind of a prequel ( brilliant concept btw..a song to follow up another..and both profoundly deep ) :

But DOOM is dropping his album with Jneiro Jarel soon so that will probably mean Killer Mike is going to join Nas, First Serve etc. in de second part of my top 10.

Definitely one of my tops so far too. O.C. sounds as good on the mic as he did on "Jewelz".

I can never label anyone as "the next Premo", but it's easy to hear the influence of him and 9th. The co-sign didn't hurt either.

I've heard "Clouds" and his work on a few other projects. I like him a lot.

I just went through all of Trophies, had it in the background while I was working on something. Very good sound. Reminds me a lot of Rakim. The production did too in a sense, old school feel. Enjoyed Nautica and The Formula.
