The Game feat Kendrick Lamar 'The City' Video
The video is awesome.
Thanks for the heads up. It really suits the track and how I thought it would look.
What are your top 3 tracks from the album?

Track is fire. First it was Jay, next is Em. I think he did great with "The Blue Album", so I can't wait for this.
I couldn't count the amount of WWE references he's made in his raps. Lol at Premo's shirt too.

1. The City
2. Born in the Trap
3. Ricky
4. Red Nation
5. Drug Test
6. Speakers on Blast
7. Paramedics
If Drug Test had Nate Dogg on the hook...would have been better.
K.Dot killed this. The West!

Saw that track and figured you'd post it up. Lamar really is killing everything he touches.
I'm not the biggest E-40 fan but I respect his longevity and all.
Nice list too. Mine's quite similar like this:
1. The City
2. Born in the Trap
3. Heavy Artillery
4. Red Nation
5. Ricky
6. All I Know
7. Drug Test

JR been missing for a good while. He can go harder than this, but it's a start. Album coming up, "Still Making History", though I'm unsure about dates.
Swizz should steer clear of the mic and stick to the boards. Out of all the tracks I've heard him rap on, he's barely impressed me.
Rocky did okay though, he salvaged something with the great beat from araab.
Track off Stalley's album; drops this Tuesday.

Very good EP following up from "The Calling". I remember THC posted some of his tracks before, so I know at least he's a fan.

Re: The Official Rap Thread part 2
The next time you buy a Nas album, you're really just handing your money over to the government -- because the rapper's delinquent tax filings have caused Uncle Sam to begin garnishing his wages ... TMZ has learned.
As TMZ first reported, Nas is in tax debt up to his eyeballs ... if his eyeballs were $6,000,000 tall.
So the government has finally tired of waiting for Nas to pay up, so they filed documents in the state of Georgia to have his wages garnished -- via the music publishing organizations BMI and ASCAP -- until the debt is paid off.
So if you like Nas, but hate the government ... perhaps you'll want to find an alternative way to listen to his music.
Damn Nas.

I didn't like Part III as much as the others, but it was still a decent tape.

It'd be nice to see the Young Guns get back together, but they've held their own as solo artists so I can't complain.

Rappers and Tax Evasion go hand in hand. It's really just a matter of "who's next?", lol.

Not the best of tracks from Sosa, but it's still decent. I've been waiting on this "Doe or Die 2" project for about 3 years now and I finally read some solid news that it's on the way.

Considering my initial doubts, I'm pleasantly surprised by this tape. Will probably end up one of my favorites for 2012.

Smooth freestyle from Q. If you haven't listened to "Habits & Contradictions" yet, I recommend it.
