I was bored out my mind so went to the cinema and that was the only movie on at that time, it was either this or Brave

I'd have gone to Brave. Mediocre as it looked at least the story didn't sound like something picked up from a stoned hipster. That, and Pixar have never made a flop to date.

Le Samourai wrote:You know what's the sad thing....it could be the worst reviewed movie in history, and somehow someway I still have to go to the cinema to watch.

Spiderman is a great story, studios should at least try to do it some degree of justice....I had hope too, I mean they hired Andrew Garfield is a huge huge upgrapde from TM....but I'm disappointed.

Hope it sin;t as bad as you say.

i wouldnt have wanted the movie to be bad. i wanted this movie to be really good.after all spiderman is everyone's childhood hero, and even now everyone wants some pure awesomeness out of him. and yeah spiderman has great potential to be all time comic movie favourite, but seriously the rebooted one was a mess a total mess. i mean i was putting all my pessimism. my worries of how this new reboot is going to fare, i kept all these confusion aside, and i went to watch this with my cousins with huge hope.

well, actually one thing i can assure you, is that Andrew Garfield is definitely upgrade to TM, and he does pretty good, he has a character who is confident, who has a teenage like personality, and not over geeky crybaby personality like TM had. perhaps on that note i can definitely give lot of credit to andrew garfield, because he certainly seemed to put lot of effort on his role.

so did emma stone, or all the casts involved... like i said, casts they are fine, but it is the directors/ the scriptwriters who messed up ... f...kd up this movie awfully.

well suggestion for u, if u still want to watch it, dont watch it in 3d it doesnt make any difference and just u have to pay extra for it, i hope ur uni/college student so u could get some ticket discount lol. and all those who are indeed going to watch it, some theaters have a weekday discount so i hope u have that. i wish u best of luck and hope it works for u guys, because certainly they didnt work for me.

if sony/columbia pictures were hoping the reboot will bring batman-like success well they are indeed wrong. actually after watching this movie, it is crystal clear that reboot was like redoranje said perhaps to keep the rights for themselves, and solely to pull off box office success, perhaps wanting to pull off atleast half a billion rip off from people. this movie aint even better than raimi-version. and i hated raimi version. and within 2014 i read that they are going to make sequel ... lol hahaha

nowadays the only way u can trust high profile movies, is if it falls in the hands of guys like christopher nolan, or zack snyder, Joss Whedon,

i even admire Ben Affelick honesty Ben Affleck turned down directing the man of steel because he wasn't experienced in VFX shots: "A lesson I've learned is to not look at movies based on budget, how much they'll spend on effects or where they will shoot. Story is what's important." now thats kind of honesty everybody wants here. this applies to amazing spiderman too, and this movie is pretty much opposite, poor story, good effects, good cinematography, promising casts/stars involved, teenage-romance, like movie.

Who would you suggest to be Superman? hmm

The Movie House - Page 39 1957128_f520

My favorite is and always will be Christopher Reeve.

The "Superman Returns" movie was a bloody mistake that should never have been made.

definitely - Seven pounds,
will smith is playing in it with one of the performances of his life, i cried throughout the movie and specially at the end

after that as 2nd most sad i would pick - Remember me
before watching it i always had the idea of robert pattinson being an average actor that girls scream and like etc.
but after watching him in this movie, i rate him very high
shocking and very sad ending

then in 3rd and 4rth place i have hachiko and keith

loved hachiko even though i dont like Richard Gere, amazing film
keith is about a highschool boy, kinda nerd from teenager's prespective
and a popular highscool schoolmate girl of his, if i tell you more ill ruin the story so, it is kinda a teen romance though dunnow if you will like it if you watch it, but is very emotional and sad

as you see i love drama/sad movies , its my favorite genre among psychological thrillers Very Happy

and as i mentioned seven pounds which is the saddest movie IMO is also my favorite movie overall , i ve seen it 3 times and intend to watch it again

Sad movie? There are so many off the top of my head, but the most recent one is The Road.

The feeling of hopelessness is overwhelming.

The Lion King still kicks my ass from just that one scene.

looking forward to the dark knight rises ... just month to go woohoo. looking forward to bourne movie, and 007, wondering how sam mendes does, looking at trailer i am bit nervous that it night fail, MGM cant afford to let this movie flop because the company went bankrupt and have finally come back and greenlight the movie.

guys do u think should direct the next 007 and after daniel criag contract expires and if he doesnt renew who should be cast??? any suggestions? me i think henry cavill should get the gig since i read in imdb that he just narrowly lost to daniel craig for the role (barbara brocchi was said to have stamped daniel craig should get the role after watching layer cake... actually that movie is awesome)
other than that i cant help but think tom hardy should definitely play 007. he is the next huge superstar he is already amazing actor

on director, i desperately want Christopher Nolan to write and direct 007 one day.

Tom Hardy 007, Nolan Director = superGOAT!!!!
