all are comfortably better defenders. again marcelos positioning would make fabreagas as a cm for barca blush.

Don't see much sense in this discussion to begin with.

Saying he isnt the best is not bashing him, he's good, young and not even the final product yet.

He obviously improved, and some aspects of his defensive game are kinda good i.e tackling, but tactically he needs greater improvement. I'd give him a 5 as a defender.

Besides dont think he's even comparable to guys that proved themselves at the highest level consistently like Lahm.

I believe that Marcelo is one of the best LB. he would be even better if he didnt link up with CR. with another player on the wing he would destroy teams
