GL Banner Contest - Voting

Ace dont feel offended, the votes speak for themselves, people commenting are just more likely to be whiners.

the banner is fine, it just doesnt match the site.. it's not a hard concept to understand and it's something u shouldve noted before voting. If ace's were "christmas themed" and the light brown turned to blue it would match, or just chsnge the forum theme.. it's not a big deal calm the *bleep* down

I will admit the color might need a bit tricking to match the current forum layout.

It’s funny that you said “take a background with fans”, cause that was the original/1st background I had. The problem was that I found having a bunch of fan faces was too distracting.
The orgy part, it really comes to down each individual interpret the raw emotions of the players. i s
Take all these players with club photos or ad photos when they look straight to camera..
1. Finding the image in high resolution might be difficult.
2. If they are facing straight, it would really take away the emotion.

Ace's banner is the best one for me. None of the others even comes close. This one is a proper professional job.

It's a very good banner, just doesn't fit with the forum theme at the moment.

RG, I'm not sure if I saw correctly, but the forum background doesn't happen to say 'HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009' in the centre, does it?

I actually really like that, but the forum already voted on Aces. I feel like it should at least stay up there for a while on that fact alone.

I agree with Barrilete. Ace's banner deverves to be online for at least a month, too, but then I'm all for the one by Highburied as that is without star players and so no one will feel left out. Very good idea IMO.

Why only for a month? You should be thankful your banner was displayed longer than it was supposed to.

He won the voting. That banner deserves to be there until we decide for another change which won't be happening soon.

Give the guy some respect he made a great effort and won the contest fair and square.

This should not even be for discussion.
