GL Banner Contest - Voting

Just wanna say people are often change averse and any little change, regardless of whether it's better or not, will cause a minority to be very vocal about it. Example: every time FB changes anything.

That being said, I thought we were going to go for the "new and improved" banner?

Looks badass, but no RVP so no chance.

I could design it myself but dont have time sorry..

This banner is just trash, no proper background and Im serious, players look like reaching an orgasm with each other.... its one of the worst i ever seen.

Heres an idea...

Take a background with fans...

Cut it to this format.

Take all these players with club photos or ad photos when they look straight to camera...

Lets say you put Messi and RVP in the middle with a bigger photo and players on his both sides going smaller...

Just an idea..

I had not seen that banner. The sexy Poldi pic behind the logo seals it for me.

Well, personally I like my banner better because
- it had all requested players on it
- none of the players was mirrored
- it is more colourful
But then, I'm biased

Agreed, i liked Rwo's one better. More colour, stood out beautifully and integrated itself with the forum theme

tbh instead of making adjustments and quick fixes to this current banner why not just put back the old banner ?surely it would make your job easier no ?

Anyways its your final decision.I'm ok with anything.

Both banners look fine, so I really don't have a problem.

I just want them to be a link back to the main Goal Legacy page like the previous one.

Yeh the previous banner suited the forum better, although this one's good too. Is there not anyway the square edges on the current one can blend into the GL theme?

Theme isnt permanent though. Thats the thing.

Maybe the current banner can be made wider so it fills the entire top section. The players would stay in the middle, but the city buildings would be either side and behind the players or something.

Might talk to Ace about that

I like Rwo Power's, but I think Lionel Messi's is more neutral and therefore good for everyone, so I have voted for it.

Ace's is okay but it's eurocentric. Id like to see Neymar or another player who plays in South America to represent the Latin Americans on the forum.

Either way, the one that was up there before was better.

How is the previous banner better? It was just a giant oglivy advertising board CRAMMED with players.

This is far more aesthetically and artistically pleasing to the eye.

It captures the essence of football.

the banner is fine, it just doesnt match the site.. it's not a hard concept to understand and it's something u shouldve noted before voting. If ace's were "christmas themed" and the light brown turned to blue it would match, or just chsnge the forum theme.. it's not a big deal calm the *bleep* down
