GL Banner Contest - Voting

I don't mean to be harsh on the person who created that banner, but I'm not feeling that banner. I have to be honest.

It would have been better if the players were wearing this season's kits and were all wearing their home kits. Far too many players on the banner too, it looks far too conjested.

I do like the font though.

Looks fine but the edges should be altered to make it completely white like there are some small sections particularly on the left where you can tell the banner ends and the white bg begins.

I also agree after the holiday season maurotauro will look the best on this theme but I still love ace's

I fixed the frame. Sorry, when I did it, I was a bit in a hurry (it's my birthday today and my Dad invited me for a yummy Swiss cheese fondue). Here's the fixed version; I hope it is okay now.

I don't mind critique when it is deserved, so no problem about it.

Well, if you can provide me with full body pics of all players in the appropriate kits, possibly looking towards the front in a size over 800-1000 pixels height with a background that has sufficient contrast to properly cut out the players, I'd be delighted to obliege

Frankly, I am not always sure which kits are the current ones in other leagues than the Bundesliga, so any help would be welcome there.

I decided to use a lot of players as there are a lot of fans of different teams and nationalities here. On the other banners I think there is quite a lack of Bundesliga players, and as much as the Serie A fans complain, the BL currently is the third ranked league in Europe, and Germany is the third ranked nation in the world, so only putting two BL/German players there is a bit lacking.

Why is the banner unclickable?

I like LM's simple and elegant

The current logo pains my soul. Huntelaar instead of Raul? For goodness sake. It deserves to be BURNED. Killed with FIRE. And look at Van Persie! It's criminal!

I'll have to get Photoshop again and make a banner that pays homage to the legends of the game. I cannot take this any longer!

There were already enough Spaniards on the pic. And I didn't want to rip out the hearts of the Madridistas by showing Raúl in the Schalke kit (even though I like Raúl much better than Huntelaar).

thats because rwo's switched to fit the white headline background and matched the banner with the site.

the theme of the forum or the theme of the banner or the banner needs to change.

Love the banner. Ace did an awesome job.

GOAT banner,but it needs a proper background,looks like it doesn't belong right now.

Why not continue with the old-banner itself then..This one kinda looks awkward.

It looks akward cause of its size, will ask Ace to alter few things and it will be good enough

Just wanna say people are often change averse and any little change, regardless of whether it's better or not, will cause a minority to be very vocal about it. Example: every time FB changes anything.

That being said, I thought we were going to go for the "new and improved" banner?
