i like the background too.
I just think the GL needs to be smaller, decrease the font size a little.

Still think Rwo's one is the best. I love the colours of all the shirts and the arrangement of the players, it's really eye catching and the whole thing seems to jump out at you, plus it incorporates most (if not all) supported clubs on the site.

The superimposed banners look too busy and intricate, like there's too much going on at one time.......if that makes any sense

Frankly, I'm a bit disappointed. I expected some thing stunning. The reason I didn't even try is because I thought mine will be the worst.

Dunno, just think the GL banner glosses over the players a little too much.

I had to strain my eyes a bit to get a proper look at the players, which isn't natural and it should be.

Still like RWO's overall though. It's simplistic and yet very intricate. And I prefer the one with Totti in the front as well.

Yeh that's true. However I could change that if I had the psd file since every player would be separate layers and can be moved to better positions.

Can't help with .psd - can you use .xcf? (I work with the GIMP on a Linux machine)

I'm not sure gimp files work on photoshop. I think maybe you'd have to save the .xcf to a psd file.

Honestly, the last one without the players is just so boss.

I like the idea of having the players, but I really liked the execution of the last one. Colors and logo just look boss.

I wouldn't have players in a banner. Just makes it too busy. The banner should convey the name/logo of the forum first and foremost.

^^I agree. The need for all those players really restricts anything you can do since the players take up 90% of the banner

Well, I like the idea with the players, but then there should be sufficient players from different teams so that less people feel left out (hence my crowd XD). For me the de-saturated banners look too drab, though. I would prefer vivid colours as that is what you see when fans celebrate together. Football isn't in sepia or grey tones, football is vibrant and colourful. But of course that's just my opinion Very Happy

It's my opinion too. This forum is about football not gaming where you have the Logo of the company or the game taking most of the space.
I like Black color. Black compliments all colors.
