Yeah has to be, for screwing over Winterfell.
Almost feel sorry for him at this point. Can't wait until I see how he's holding up next week.

Can't tell whose situation is worse in terms of body parts Theon or Jaime.

- Spoiler:
- Looks like Second Sons and Stormcrows will be merged. Debut of Daario (who is blonde) and Coldhands this episode. Sam The Slayer arc, Tyrion/Sansa marriage, looks like another great episode. Then next is RW

Tricky one. I'd have said theon if Jamie lost his bad hand, but he lost his sword hand and even without having to fight, imagine your storng hand not being there.
Then again, not having your penis would be mentally horrific.

Re: Game of Thrones
Theon is just a little shit. But his fate is seriously *bleep* up. Wait and watch.
Disagree. Sansa makes some really screwed up choices, Ned made some really screwed up choices, Bran climbed the tower when he shouldn't have. All of them are a bunch of GOBs. They always make huge mistakes.

The only Stark I think made a poor decision out of all the books was Robb breaking his promise to Walder Frey then actually trying to use them afterwards.

Am I the only one that thinks the Theon arc is being drawn out a little too much with the sadistic torture? Getting rather old honestly.

Well I won't give spoilers from the book, but this is probably the one arc that I don't think the show got particularly right. Feels a bit forced, and a bit predictable. That can be dangerous for show that prides itself on the unpredictable.

- Spoiler:
- I think a large portion of the show is the hate for Joffrey, and well lets be honest, we know what happens there. I think they are setting the bastard up as the next person you completely hate (like rage hate) on the show.

It feels a bit forced because it didn't happen in the books. We only found Theon two books from now, seeing the aftermath of all this, rather than watching it as it happens. I understand why they had to do it differently, but now they need to maintain a story arc over the course of 3-4 seasons without anything really changing in it (unless they find a new direction to take things or switch up the timeline a little bit). I assume they'll do the latter, but in the meantime I agree it feels far too stretched out.

Re: Game of Thrones
I have HBO (so I use HBOgo often) and I didn't realized I could watch all of Game of Thrones.
I've never seen any episode at all not even previews. I was careful in posting in this thread in case, but I am proud to say that I will finally take the time and watch this show that seems to be hugely popular among most people

To book readers:
- Spoiler:
- Is it safe to bet that the 9th episode will purely focus on Catelyn, Robb, Arya and the Hound? The ending would look cool with Arya running towards the rising drawbridge and the Hound throwing the Axe

I think that he might be the Gollum of Ice and Fire. Not sure though.
I also dislike Cathelyn Stark a lot. She sucks.

Seriously man I told you this would happen, all it takes is one spoiler. Let's make a book-free thread ffs.
Not complaining about anybody who's posting spoilers btw, was bound to happen.

- Spoiler:
- Come on Nichabr .Obviously she's not a Stark by blood , but she's a Stark ; married to a Stark , lived with Starks more than half her life , born 5 Starks , Catelyn Stark, you know what i mean. Can't say it better than that. In general , House Stark lived by a code of ethics that had them survived for thousands of years and all these stupid decisions they've been taking since Ned moved South , only brough chaos and misery to their House . And to the North , who are responsible of protecting .
Many examples about Catelyn and Starks in general making stupid decisions , one after the other . For instance , Ned only wanted to stay at the North and be the liege lord of the North, that's what he was meant to be after his older brother died and that's what he only wanted but Catelyn the wise just had to convince him go south , when she knew full well what happens to Starks who move to King's Landing I wonder if she ever took one right decision after Ned moved South , seriously
Or Ned , what about him ? Did he listen to Littlefinger when he was the hand? Too much honour and grace about Ned Stark to spare thousands of lives and years of war and all that with winter coming .Was all the death and treachery that befell his house and Westeros more honourable & right than what Baelish proposed?.And that came from Baelish , the biggest c**t alive in Westeros after Joffrey . Which by the way , i think now Baelish was after this as well. Varys wanted Ned to be spared as far as i have read at least and i remember Cercei very well saying , she wanted him to join the Night's watch and dissapear from King's Landing once and for all. Who else remains but Baelish to want him dead , after unveiling his plan to Ned which was plain treason , he wasn't safe. Add to that his ever lasting lust for Catelyn and it's very possible , that Ned took the worst decision he could have made that day at the office I could be wrong about Baelish and it might be just Joffrey who wanted to kill him because he wanted to remove him of the throne , but had he listened to Littlefinger , he would have survived then and the Lannisters would be in chaos. Sorry for the uneccesary analisys , but you can't deny it was just another stupid Stark decision.
To conclude , for a house who can be proud of past Kings , which were strongly connected to Westeros history and on top liege of the North in general , to make such decision at times of war , is just plain stupid. All of them took stupid decisions masked under their code of ethics , but none more than Catelyn who tried to control everything and lost everything for it, she basicaly ruined House Stark with her actions , when she should have been just a mother in Winterfell , not more. Like Cercei said , when you play the Game of thrones , you win or you die and the Starks just can't win to save their lives

Also Dante have you finished Storm Of Swords? More mindblowing stuff happens just wait
* No spoiler *
Not yet , but it's evident , all the stories of the characters take amazing turns and twists. This book can't stop being awesome and thrilling. I have a bit less than 200 pages left and i think i will be finishing it by tonight , probably.
- Spoiler:
- And if the Red Wedding was any indication , then Arya's god will be present in Joffrey's wedding too .I can't stop combining the word death and wedding. I am afraid house Martel from Dorne is a bad omen about house Lannister and Tyrion should be more careful. Tywin wants to manipulate them and control them , but since i don't see any Starks alive fighting him anymore , the Highgarden being an ally and Stannis having just lost his biggest battle , Daenarys being far away for now , i see them as a threat to the Lannisters . If they kill any Lannisters , i hope Jaime takes revenge somehow
