Why are we spoiler tagging things that happened in the last episode? Surely if you haven't watched the latest one you shouldn't be reading this thread

And surely by now we've realized that common sense isn't exactly common on these forums. It's a small courtesy that takes no real extra effort... in fact, it would have taken more effort to complain about spoiler tags than use them in the first place.

Well my issue is that it doesn't discriminate between book spoilers and tv spoilers. So if someone is clicking on the spoiler tags because he's watched the latest episode, only to find out that it was a book spoiler instead of a tv spoiler, he might regret that decision.

Question:

Should they have made Storm of Swords into two seasons or could they have done something similar to Breaking Bad/Walking Dead and do 2 half seaons (like 7 eps, break then 6 eps)?

Its allowed for some good characterisation etc. but some bits seem a bit more drawn out than previous seasons. And those who have read would probably agree that next season could be more drawn out.

I agree way too much happens for just 1 season, but 2 is stretching it. Of course there is enough content, but to maintain pace and entertainment, I think its stretching it.

If you feel it would chop and change too much with this, I think it could be solved by smarter editing.

I don't think the pace is too small, and frankly for some non-book readers the pace of the past 2 seasons was way too fast.

There's enough contents from the second half of the 3rd book to make the next season exciting. And i think they will add some content from AFFC and ADWD.
