Re: Sir Frank Lampard
Gutted over a goal scored by Frank Lampard.
Weird feeling indeed.
Probably hurt him more than any of us, mind.

I am not so sure.
I always had great respect for Lampy & Gerrard. Nothing against Lampy as a pro. But he lost my respect as a Chelsea legend - not because he scored today. But when he joined a direct rival no matter the circumstances and that non-sense of saying didn't get to say proper good-bye. Now I only respect Gerrard. Loyalty is non-sense if u don't show it.

Re: Sir Frank Lampard
This really does prove what has always been said about Frank; that he's the ultimate professional.
As weird as it may sound, I have more respect for him as a person and a footballer now then I ever have before

Re: Sir Frank Lampard
The [non] goal celebration?
The mutual respect with the Chelsea fans after the final whistle?
His humility and deference in the post-match interviews?
Not sure what else you'd like him to do, tbh.

what are you even talking about... i feel most chelsea fans understand why he decided to do they city loan till MLS starts. And i don't think he showed any lack of loyalty, chelsea and city fans cheered for him, and he didn't celebrate his goal. Liverpool will continue to keep gerrard, chelsea didn't want to really for lamps.

Re: Sir Frank Lampard
It was sort of a double blow for me. First on seeing the net ruffle then the announcer saying the "would you believe it" re Frank being the one to score it.

Re: Sir Frank Lampard
He does now have the record of having scored against the most Premier League teams in history, at 39, beating Andy Cole, on 38 teams.
So we can celebrate that for our Frankie.

Did I say he was un-professional or dis-respectful? I said as a Chelsea legend - I don't see Loyalty. None of above points justify loyalty but respect for club. Respect is not Loyalty.

Re: Sir Frank Lampard
He called man city THEY, not for respect to us, but because of his loyalty to us.
If we'd offered him any contract, he would have taken it.

Read my post - I said it has go nothing to do with today. As for MLS and player joining on loan - It is a professional doing what is right for him. Nothing to do with heart.

Re: Sir Frank Lampard
Are you suggesting he should have more loyalty to Chelsea than he does to himself? That he should have opted for a loan to Australia over one to the country he was born in, raised in, lived in all his life, and where his daughters and fiance live? All to make....you feel better.
Please.
Please.

Same here Kick. Just felt numb for some reason.
I also don't get why he's getting stick from some of our own fans. It is really immature to expect him to screw it up just because he was a legend for us. This ain't FIFA.

That shows Lampy has his heart for Chelsea. Unfortunately actions speak louder than words and I would like to leave it at that.

Your entire case for his supposed disloyalty seems to be that he moved to City on loan rather than Australia. I'm asking why you think Frank should be thinking more about Chelsea fans (99.9% of whom see what he's done for our club and don't give a shit anyway) than about himself and moved to Melbourne away from his home, daughters and fiance just to satisfy you.
