Jeez this debate never dies.Worse than Messi vs Ronaldo.
For me there isnt much between both of them but they are totally different players.Gerrard is the better CM but Lampard is the better AM.Gerrard is more versatile and better defensively but Lampard is the better finisher.
They could have been really effective in a side that plays 4-5-1 but England didnt have the players for that formation.Its just because England managers were incapable the media shifted the blame onto either of them.
I would happily take an inform Lampard into Liverpool side alongside Gerrard.
But at the end of the we all know Gerrard is the better player.

Nah, It's been Lampard for as long as I can remember.

scholes is number 1. england wasted their time trying to make some sort of amazing midfield duo with lampard and gerrard, while scholes was their all along going to waste.
