Re: Sir Frank Lampard
This is just sad. Really. He's basically the reason why I came to love Chelsea. And now, he is leaving. I knew that this time would come, but this is just too soon. At least for me.
I wish him all the best.
Just don't play for City. Please.

Goodbye Frank.
Thank you, for everything.
A huge void needs to be filled now. More so than the Drogba sized one of 2012.

I don't just mean on the field. Off of it Lampards void will be felt. He is our Vice Captain. One of Jose's closest ally's. It is a huge loss.

Re: Sir Frank Lampard
He was and will always be, my favourite player.
I remember him on Fifa WC 2002, he was rated 64 or something, but I used him anyway
Then he was always my AM in any Fifa game.

Re: Sir Frank Lampard
Frank Lampard will definitely make Chelsea return, claims José Mourinho... and he can have any job he wants:
José Mourinho has invited Frank Lampard to return to Chelsea as his assistant manager or any other capacity he wants after admitting that letting the midfielder go was one of the most difficult acts of his career

‘You can’t imagine how difficult it was. I think only Frank knows that, but at the same time I can feel some happiness about the process because, for sure, he comes back to Chelsea.’
‘For sure. Everybody wants it. Mr Abramovich — the No 1, the most important person — wants Frank to be back very much, I want him to be back and the staff want him back, so he comes back for sure.’
‘He can come back the way he wants. Mr Abramovich has left the door completely open for him on the understanding Frank can do anything he wants at this club. To repeat Mr Abramovich’s words, “He can come back the way he wants”.’
‘He can be a coach, he can start at the academy, he can start being my assistant at the same time because he is doing his coaching badges, or he can start in a different role.’
‘It’s not the end of Frank Lampard’s career in Chelsea. It’s just a little break.’
‘He will be back, hopefully for many, many years, because he’s one of the most important players in the history of Chelsea.’

Re: Sir Frank Lampard
That's very thoughtful of the club. He's one of the greatest if not the greatest Chelsea player ever. He deserves this kind of treatment.

Re: Sir Frank Lampard
Completely agree. I'd have him back doing just about anything, He is one of the smartest footballers out there so I am sure he is capable of doing any role.

JT on Lamps' absence:
-
— via the Daily Mail
-
-
-
"It feels different coming in and Lamps not being sat next to me."
"We have sat next to each other in the changing room since... well, since he signed for the club really. I’ve become really close to Lamps and Ash and they were my two best mates at the club."
"So I’m really sad to see arguably the best player the club has ever had, in Lamps, move on, for what he brought to the dressing room and as a mate."
"You understand that you all get older, but you just hope that point doesn’t come."
