His performance against Gala was masterpiece. That was vintage Lampard, even without scoring he could have that impact on the game. Tie with Hazard for MOTM.

Ramires being suspended(thank god he has been useless lately) we need more of that from Lampard.

Frank Lampard is close to signing a new deal at Chelsea.

The veteran midfielder, who will turn 36 next month, is in the final stages of his negotiations with the Stamford Bridge club.

He is out of contract in the summer but is not looking at other options despite strong interest from the United States.

Lampard wants his future sorted out before the World Cup and is looking to put pen to paper early next week after returning from England’s training camp in Portugal.

Lampard’s current salary sees him rake in around £150,000 a week but the Three Lions star will have to take a pay cut to remain at the club.
