At the end of the day, it's going to be a tiny loan before the season starts, so he'll play like max 10 games?

Not really arsed about it myself. Greatest player in the club's history - there's little he could do to change that; least of all a short-term loan switch to a side we've zero historical rivalry with for mostly fitness-related ends.

Hardly arsed. If we're being honest, City aren't a hated rival. They're just a (title) rival.

Would be upset if it were United, Liverpool or Arsenal.

And he's specifically requested not to play against Chelsea apparently. So yeah he'll be fine.
