However, Mata has been rumoured to move throughout the transfer window and nothing has happened, so I wouldn't be sure of the deal happening yet.

why oh why didnt wenger sign mata when he had the chance, top shelf player with lots of experience at such a young age but no hehad to buy a 17 year old player for half as much who will do nothing for our search for a trpohy this season.

Doesn't matter Gil as those are all just kids. Valencia is in CL and needs to make a good showing. With Malaga, Villareal, Atleti (with Falcoa now), etc., there's no guarantee they will make CL again for next year.

They really shouldn't sell him.

We've already come out of situations like these when we sell our top players so I'm not worried whether he goes or not burt still believe he's not leaving.

Mata has been linked with any half decent English club, even Spurs, though. He'd also have Jose Enrique as company, and Liverpool are loaded in cash right now.

His style would fit Arsenal most, but meh. Sir Alex is better. And not Ferguson, but Chamberlain.

I always though Mata would go to Liverpool. I think the scouser shirt would suit him.

Champions League is the prime for these types of players albeit I think the scousers might nick 4th spot, if they do then they might start attracting these players as they certainly have the financial clout but if they don't make CL football in the next 2-3 years..adios Suarez I'm afraid!
