Prediction on Managers that may lose their Job this season.
How long will it be this season before the first manager is sacked and who will be this manager? As the season progresses, we can expect more managers to be sacked. Managerial tenure has become shorter.
Last season alone in German bundesliga 9 manager were sacked including top name such as Luis Van Gaal, Felix Magath, Armin Veh and Steve McClaren. There was 25 Managerial changes in Italian Seria A including top managers such as Rafael Banitez, Claudio Ranieri, Delio Rossi.
In England there was 10 managerial changes including Carlo Ancelotti, Ray Hodgson, Zola, Martin O'Neil and big sam. 10 Managers were sacked in Spain including Manuel Pellegrini, Antonio Álvarez, and Jesualdo Ferreira.
Ligue 1 = 5 changes, Primeira Liga = 11 changes, Eredivisie = 11.
With that said what is your prediction on the manager to first get the letter this season or who are sure of getting sacked at some point as the season progress.
My prediction on first to go will be Ståle Solbakken of FC Koln and Steve Kean of Blackburn will definitely get sack at some point as the season progresses .

Don't think AVB will get sacked unless Chelsea fail hard, they spent 15 million to sign him and have spent 30 million so far on players for the future with the possiblity of more to come....
Call me stupid but as much as this is a deal for the now i think this is a future project aswell.

chelsea better not fail at this, because right now its not a coaching issue but a mentality and philosophy issue, and if anyone can do both at managing and coaching the club for the future and present then its mr boas.Immaculate_Mole wrote:Don't think AVB will get sacked unless Chelsea fail hard, they spent 15 million to sign him and have spent 30 million so far on players for the future with the possiblity of more to come....

Lol knew AVB would be mentioned.
Guess again, he isn't going anywhere, Mole is right, we're working towards the fututre so he only needs to secure top 4 finish this season IMO?

The longest serving coach in Serie A has been at the helm for 2 years.
Absolutely unbelievable...makes me sick
Impatience impedes progress...Its a vicious cycle, fans wind up hurting their own club

Harry Rednapp is a good shout IMO.He is already moaning he isnt getting the players he want and could lose Modric too.He has a history of walking away from sinking ships and Levy has a history of sacking managers hastily. If their season collapse spectacularly both will try to blame each other and part ways.

Idk, if mourinho doesn't win anything this year, then he MAY consider leaving or Perez may consider firing him but it is definitely not guaranteed.
Mourinho was Madrid's last roll of the dice in terms of coaches so he probably has a better chance of staying

Nah, the memory of him leading Spurs to their first ever CL campaign and reaching the quarter-finals there is too fresh.

Levy sacked Ramos who won their first trophy in ages. And also sacked Martin Jol despite being the 1st tottenham manager to finish in consecutive years again first time in ages. And spurs 2nd half season form last year were relegation form.

But come on, both Jol and Ramos were having shockers when they got sacked.
Jol sacked in '07: 1 win in 10 BPL games.
Ramos sacked in '08: 0 wins in 8 BPL games.
If Spurs start the season like that, maybe then Redknapp could be shown the door, but they finished 5th last season and I don't think they'll struggle too much in the opening stages of this one.

Thats why i said if Spurs collapse spectacularly he could be sacked. If they lose Modric,Dont buy a good striker it is very possible IMO.And Jol also finished 5th before he got sacked.

More like 20m pounds (4m Romeu, 8m Courtois, 13m Lukaku). Not including Zhirkov's sale for 13.2m pounds.
If Chelsea wanted instant success from Villas-Boas then they would have added 2-3 WC players that the squad needs.
