Apparently after a good Euros teams wanted Jese, however the club said no since he signed a contract last year and his buy out clause is 40m. In the segunda he'll be a better player and the following season Mourinho wants him in the first team squad. He might also go on the U.S. tour.

Re: Jesé Rodríguez - The Future
Jese Rodriguez has spoken of his excitement at being part of Real Madrid's squad for their pre-season tour of the United States.
The Spanish striker, who impressed for his country at the Under-19 European Championship earlier in the summer, is one of the players from Madrid's youth ranks who have been given the chance to prove their worth to coach Jose Mourinho during the warm-up preparations.
Jese, who also joined up with the squad last summer, had expressed confidence that the Portuguese coach would not overlook the club's homegrown talent this time around, and he took to Twitter to share his emotions before leaving for the States.
"About to go to Los Angeles with the entire first team," he wrote. "It is a luxury to be able to make the pre-season again and to be able to work with them."

Re: Jesé Rodríguez - The Future
"It's always important to score goals, but the truth is that I care most about playing matches and I'm really happy that the coach let me play," Jese told AS.
"However, my first priority is Castilla. Then, if the coach thinks I can help out the team, that'll be perfect. It's everyone's dream to be able to play for Real Madrid's first team.
"I felt really good out on the pitch because we have a squad full of brilliant players. They are among the best in the world and playing with them is very easy."

Lots of talk that when we buy Caravajal back we will give Jese to Leverkusen on a similar deal with a buy back clause.
Great news if true and I hope it happens.

yea, let him go. get some first team games. there is no way he will start with real madrid right now.
maybe if callejon goes to liverpool or arsenal or whatever team was recently linked with him, maybe jese can take his place and get a role as squad players. but i prefer that he goes and starts and develops his game.
from goal.com July, 2012.
The teenager has seen his stock rise after Spain's Under-19 triumph, with Los Blancos acting fast to deter any potential suitors for the promising striker
Real Madrid has slapped a 40 million euro release clause on its promising young striker Jese Rodriguez, amid frenzied interest from European clubs.
The 19-year-old scored the winner in Spain's UEFA Under-19 European Championship final against Greece last Sunday, also taking the top scorer award.
With increased interest from Arsenal, Manchester City and Benfica, Jese's agent, Gines Carvajal has sought to cool interest in the Madrid protege.
"Jese last year signed a contract until 2014 and a buyout clause of 40 million euros. In addition, Madrid does not intend to sell him. He is untouchable." Carvajal was quoted as saying by AS.
The report in AS states that Jese will continue featuring for Real Madrid Castilla for the time being, eventually being developed for a first-team place later in the season.
Jese returns to training on July 25 in the Spanish capital, but it remains to be seen whether he will participate in the club's US tour.

Re: Jesé Rodríguez - The Future
Jesé is being likened to Cristiano Ronaldo, on skill, on physique and on position, but if the Spanish player resembles anyone in recent Real Madrid history, it would be Raúl González.
No-one has made such an explosive first team entry since the legendary 'Los Blancos' no. 7 made his debut in Zaragoza and then went on to make his mark against Atlético.
The difference is that Raúl, unlike Jesé, was included in the starting XI almost immediately, while Ancelotti keeps Jesé on the bench, using him as the 12th man in the absence of any of his three starting forwards. His achievements, six goals and five assists in 849 minutes, are the stuff of a true genius.
Although great young talents such as Portillo and Soldado have passed through Real's ranks, none of those players made the impact that Jesé Rodriguez is. Given Raúl's regular starter status, only Jesé himself knows how good he could be.

Re: Jesé Rodríguez - The Future
Needs to get his head out of the clouds so early on.
Comments like "in 4 years I want the Balon D'Or" or "I see myself with the Spanish NT, if i keep playing like this"
It's his first season actually getting minutes with our first team. He needs to take things slow and the press in Madrid needs to stop hyping him so much, it only makes things worse.

the hype from the press destroyed isco imo wrote:
sometimes you gotta wonder if we are all watching the same games at times, just because some of you want isco to succeed so badly, its like some of you go blind when he plays, right now at madrid he is a reserve, no matter how some try to sugar coat it he is simply not good enough, save the magic ball control chit chat, its mean bleep all to carlo, passing di maria level, vision below average, and tactically headless, again isco won't be the first so called star player to go to a top team and look lost, maybe its time to admit that he is just not as good as everybody thought and stop stuffing crap down people throat. wrote:
isco is a very overrated player only thing his fans can go on about his is dribbling and control, i have seen a lot of his youtube vids guess what?mainly about dribling and contol, hardly any highlights of his vision and passing or being tactically sound, next iniesta.....nope . wrote:
isco gonna get screwed come next season anyway, so it doesn't matter where he plays now, he won't establish himself, come summer more midfielder and strikers wrote:
Carlo today: "This is a very difficult question. Let's be honest ... I'm not here to work for a player but to work for Real Madrid and so, from time to time, you may not be as fair with some players. It is normal if Isco is not happy. It is normal that he has the desire to play. As I said, he is penalized a bit but I hope that at the end of season we can say he was an important player for the team. He did well when he played. I have no doubt of his talent and his future here. " wrote:
Isco is a genius at dribbling and taking snap shots, carlo played him all over the pitch and he couldn't establish himself in any position, cause all he relies on is dribbling and random shots here and there, that not enough for a genius, That why he can't break into this particular team and there is no shame in that, this is not malaga. pedram ozil is not lazy, he was never a runner everybody who watch him plays knews this, as dani said playing in the epl is not gonna magically improve his stamina, that like saying put di maria in barca he would be smarter Laughing. anyway keep tearing down ozil cause isco is flopping. wrote:

Jese walks the talk. Nothing wrong with what he said
He is ambitious and works towards his targets instead of waiting for it to get to him like a certain someone

It's good to be ambitious and what not, I'm not saying it's wrong. Those comments just show where is head is at the moment and he needs to take it down a notch, I'm saying it's too soon. It's good he works for his targets and I hope he's matured past the hot head always wants the ball yells at his teammates do it all player when he was coming up our youth system.

This kid really is like Ronaldo. Not only that he looks like him on the pitch, but also 'inside'.

jese can't yell at anyone on the first team no matter how many goals he scores, this season or the next or the one after that, he will have to be humble until its his turn to lead the next generation.

Yes because Callejon has been playing so much better....
Callejon 14 goals 3 assists in 2611 minutes - G/A every 153.58 mins
Jese 8 goals 6 assists in 1048 minutes - G/A every 74.85 mins
To give you an idea from his own team:
Ronaldo 34 goals 12 assists in 2783 minutes - G/A every 60.5 minutes
Bale 11 goals 12 assists in 1703 minutes - G/A every 74.04 minutes
Basically Jese is twice as efficient as Callejon, not to mention a lot better in other areas too, beating his man, pace, finishing etc.
