Jesé Rodríguez
Sems like a great talent
His style is what interests me the most. He is a Reyes but with Ronaldo's(pre goal addiction) dribbling style and a work rate of Zanetti. His vision is excellent. Great eye for goal and can play anywhere across the front 3 AND in midfield without giving anything less.
Ancelotti is notorious for not giving youth a chance but Jese has found a way into the team. He is doing better than Bale which really begs the question of why spend 80m on Bale when you have someone who can perform magnificently and will be a better player than Bale himself. Overall. Neither Isco can displace Jese nor Di maria.
I hope he lives up to this current level.
Thoughts?

Re: Jesé Rodríguez
Nice observation with him and Reyes. Real Madrid's transfer policy is something that is very hard to decipher but I'm glad Jese is proving himself at the highest level.
90% sure he won't make the WC squad this time around but he'll be there once he continues improving.

Loool Bayern is so greedy....
But yes breaking through in such a Real squad to start and perform like this consistently is really something. Being a rival though I hope he doesnt become too good for Real

Have always said the Bale transfer doesn't make sense financially especially with the players we had already

Does Levy take refunds?
Bale will be back sooner rather than later with his last years form again

Re: Jesé Rodríguez
Who needs Reus. This kid!!
And I'm sure there will be a chance to grab him, as Real will need money after they'll have splashed 130m € for Hazard in summer.

Re: Jesé Rodríguez
will wonder what happens to him in the next 2-3 years if he stays patient and doesn't mind being a sub then good for him..
but Bale / Ronaldo on the wings will limit him there..
unless he plays ST.. but Madrid keeps being linked with more strikers such as aguero, suarez etc etc.

Re: Jesé Rodríguez
Didn't find him too impressive at first, but he's getting better every game. He's got good decision making and intelligence for someone who's young. Rarely loses the ball.

Re: Jesé Rodríguez
Really exciting to watch, I don't often bother watching Madrid but seeing somebody as young as him do well and contribute as much as he has with limited minutes is really cool to see.

Re: Jesé Rodríguez
He is the natural successor to Ronaldo imo. I am very happy for him because I could already see while he was at Castilla that he could start for the first team with no problem. Hope he continues to improve id love for him to be on that plane to brazil this summer
He has a knack of scoring in big games and tough grounds

Re: Jesé Rodríguez
wasnt there a time when Morata was highly regarded than other youth players at Madrid , I think Carlo deserves some credit to get him playing that way when you have Bale, Ronaldo, Maria and others in your team

Re: Jesé Rodríguez
Jese has always been regarded as our brightest prospect since mid 2000. Morata is extremely talented but never rated as high as Jese.
If Morara was a starter for us he would be scoring regularly. He is your typical rythm player. he needs game to impress. Jese has an advantage over him in the sense he is an all rounder (bar heading) which Morata I am afraid is not

Wasn't Sarabia rated higher than Jese ?

Nah Sarabia was an extremely talented guy with a very high ceiling if he had patience to stay and develop (which he chose not to do) But Jese has it all and really carried Castilla in Segunda last season(sarabia never really had that chance because he left so prematurely, I doubt he would've had the same impact anyways)

Started this thread in 2011 and was following him for probably around 3 or so years before this

Glad to see he is finally getting the playing time on the field to show the sort of amazing talent he is.
