Crime against football if one of Liverpool, Arsenal or ManCity fail to win PL title this season.
Arsenal f beat their London rivals 6-0, now same GD as City and just 1 GD with Liverpool

Bill, controll with your jokes
United dumb supporters need to show some respect to Sir McTomany, always scoring important goals. They wanted him sold in the summer.

Almost his entire team back and he is still making us play Ole ball. Seriously not ok that. And even when most people have been firmly eth out, I for one was waiting, hoping our play will improve when injured players get back and was kind of still trusting him. Sigh. Starting to feel like a fool now.

let's hope it goes to the final day with all 3 with a chance to win, can't ever remember that happening in a PL season

Re: Premier League 2023/24
Anyone watching Chelsea this season? Whats with Cole Palmer who I think was only introduced very recently around the start of the season by Man C, but mainly a backup player, being seemingly Chelseas best player?
How has Nkunku been doing btw?

Re: Premier League 2023/24
Cole Palmer didn't play from the start very often, if at all, at Man City - but he did play relatively often for a substitute. His work rate was good, and he did show flashes of brilliance on a few occasions. I don't personally think he showed that he's consistently good enough, so I don't blame them for selling him. He has a decent level of talent, but I think his greatest strengths are his positive offensive work rate and a ton of confidence that would occasionally culminate into arrogance when he was at City.
This is pure speculation, but I imagine he sees himself as being a lot better than he actually is. That confidence can be a strength, but I don't think it's sustainable unless you actually have the talent to justify it. He taunted opposing fans on more than one occasion while he was playing for Man City, and for someone who's not an established name or even a starter at their club, I thought it was pretty embarrassing to watch.

he's a nice player... i like him, good balance of decent talent and application... i think his hard work actually allows him to get more out of himself than his raw talent would suggest

Interesting He certainly seems to be doing it at Chelsea so far, although not sure if its due to Chelsea being bad in general so he kinda shines more when everyone is under performing or not Will continue to keep an eye, but prolly can only really tell once they fire Poch finally?

I agree with this. Remains to be seen how long he can sustain that drive for, though. What typically separates the good from the great is their levels of consistency/sustainable ability, and I believe Man City let go of him because he looked more like a flash in the pan than a consistent performer. It sounds like he's become more consistent at Chelsea, but he's only been there for half a season.

It's just my opinion, but I don't think Poch is the main problem at Chelsea, just like I don't think Tuchel was the problem before him. Or Xavi at Barcelona, or Ten Haag at Man United. Sometimes, teams just don't get their transfers and team building right, and then they enter periods of managerial recycling until they do get it back on the right track.
I read that Chelsea will somehow be able to spend big this summer as well, so there's still time for people to change their opinions on Pochettino lol. Swapping them out might improve things, but it's not going to fix the deeper issues in regard to how the team is put together, which means that small improvements still won't save the next manager from being in the same situation.

I thought Poch was there when all these players were being signed?

Yes, he arrived in july of last year - at which point, Boehly had already gone on a shopping spree, and I still remember Poch being confused when asked about the last arrival of the transfer window. Clearly, he wasn't clued in on what was happening

This is applicable for 99% of young players right now it feels like and its very true too.
Re Palmer, Its like they have found their new Mount after selling Mount.

Yeah, Chelsea far more dangerous, City struggling to contain their counter attacks.

Chelsea really fighting, every player.
The have so much space on the counter, but execution is terrible. Could have scored a lot. Nkunku looks like wtf am I doing here, just lost.

Jeez. Haaland has been uncharacteristically poor with his chances in this match. They're going to get punished for it, there's hardly any time left of the match.

Chelsea had to take all those chances ffs, they had one on one one with Ederson 4 times, and I didn't even watch from the start.

Re: Premier League 2023/24
Ederson's put in his personal best performance of the season, to be fair. They should've done better with their chances, but the rain is pouring down and the final balls haven't been ideal considering how much time the assisters have had to release those passes.
