To me, the difference with no dead wood in squad to every single one of them able to contribute and coach has confidence in entire lineup is tremendous. It makes for a very versatile squad able to easily overcome injuries, even severe and long term ones to key players.

I think both management and Flo deserve tremendous credit for not only assembling another possible dominating squad, while recognizing they are not yet done, while finally getting rid of the “hangers on”. And equally to Carlo for recognizing the potential of Jude, the formation change and the strength and versatility of squad particularly the midfield.

Also I keep in mind, Sports saying we had no chance of winning without Mbappe and he hasn’t still recognized how great Bellingham is, saying the formation won’t work and it was just put together to benefit Bellingham! Yet he was the one who said Mbappe wouldn’t play CF, essentially saying either change formation or treat Vinicius as an average player! And while I’m at it, he also was extremely critical of Flo in his pursue of youth potentials!

We are finally getting into gear. It was difficult with Vini out, we are now starting to witness the potential of this young and hungry team.

Joselu misses alot of opportunities but man without a proper n9 Vini gets lost. Rodrygo has failed with the opportunities he's had, it's now Joselu's turn.

I think what's really underrated is the culture of the team and you can see that. Teammates love each other, they love Carlo, and they love RM. That can take you very far

Yh, no cliques or anything, all youngsters hanging out with eachother. That's very important imo. A couple of decades ago we had galacticos who resented eachother.

Add into the mix, the mentoring, advising by the older players especially Kroos and Nacho.

Also seeing the odd story about Endick and conversations between him and Vinicius and Rodrygo.

It sounds like the togetherness of the entire team is very positive.

I just watched replays of Haaland’s two goals against Chipre. Wow, he is increible! I’m thinking I should send the videos to Perez as I say he had the priority sequence wrong. He’s after a centre forward and he plans to go after Mbappe, Haaland, Alvarez, in that sequence.

I believe Haaland is a much better fit than Mbappe. (While I also recognize that he may well miss out on both Mbappe and Haaland!)

Haaland doesn’t have the same ego issues that Mbappe has. He plays the position we need, whereas Mbappe’s preferred positioning conflicts with Vinicius. Haaland has played with Bellingham and has been supportive about his achievements at Madrid. It can be argued that Haaland is the better player and certainly is a better team player.

I see, if Haaland does come, RMad potentially have the 3 of 4 best players in the world as their front line.

I missed that match due to family matters. I'm looking forward to our match against Spain today! Hopefully, he delivers in that match as well. It's been incredibly boring to watch him at Man City lately. I would eventually be driven mad if I had to play for 90 minutes every week in such a passive, isolated role. He really might as well be Peter Crouch with the way they're utilizing him.

The veteran CB who failed to communicate with the goalie was picked ahead of a younger CB tonight, so I imagine our manager would've received a lot of flak if that goal had stood.

Spain finally get their goal. I think Haaland will squeeze a goal in at some point in the second half, but there's no way we'll win this. We can't compete in overall quality, and we haven't really created anything so far.
